The reason the eggs don't have the realistic reflection is because it would impact performance A LOT. I mean salmon run is already laggy but imagine if there are like 15 eggs (which there usually are) laying on the ground and the game has to calculate the reflections for each and every one of them. Reflections can be very complicated to calculate. Also most people have the original Switch form 2017 which does not have the best hardware especially for a newer game like Splatoon 3. The reflection of the eggs is basically just a image that helps it not look out of place with the map but keep it very easy to run. Also I don't actually know too much about game development so don't trust me too much but this is the most reasonable explanation.
Amateur game dev here, and you're actually right. Most games that have shiny/reflective objects have what's known as a "reflection map" assigned to them, which is an image that tells the object about what the reflections should look like. Most of the time it's some version of the environment that the object will often appear in. If each object's reflection is calculated on-the-fly, via raytracing or another method, this can impact performance, esp. if there are a lot of reflective objects. That's why most raytracing games need one of the really powerful RTX graphics cards right now.
Manny reflections in game have this like the eye of justice hat from Splatoon 2 just shows a picture of whatever map you're in as a relfection

Idk why but the lifesaver float you sit in before getting revived is so freaking adorable. Like the lil hop you get and you can just booyah in it? The Inkling/Octoling that got stuck in the flyfish mashing "Help!" was so adorable.

For Site 5 Kettle 6, you can get past the door even without taking damage by utilizing the pillars in front of it
In fact I couldn’t figure out how to kill the big bubblers so I just skipped that part and thought it was intentional until I saw this video
I didnt know that you were supposed to kill them so i skipped it and then went back tp kill them
The fact that they added special dialogue if you decide to skip it too XD
There is dialogue in the second level where you have to conserve ink where if you get to the goal without killing a single enemy, you will get this special dialogue

7:14 This actually blew my mind. A few fighting games have Player Icon options that're a character with that green and yellow icon next to them, usually to show that you're practicing with that character. Had no idea that's where it came from.
Did you know, if you battle the deep cut again, if you finish the story, you get a special/custom dialogue,
this being around ever since in splatoon 1 and 2 in Octavio final boss with custom/special dialogue
In Get to Know Alterna, Your Only Choice you can use Little Buddy to stop the squee-Gs from moving.
On eeltail alley, by walking near the phones while in recon, you can hear some kind of sound like someone is hitting something. It's probably a construction worker out of sight, but I like to believe some guy got stuck behind the wall and is trying to get out.

If you place a golden egg anywhere in the grizzco practice range, it will always show the reflection of the grizzco lobby no matter where you put it, even if it’s in a dark corner we’re the reflection shouldn’t be.
The clam in hotlantis costs 8888 coins since you now need 8 clams instead of 10 to make the football

If you go to the cooler by the exit in grizzco, you can see there are slices of salmon in it.

if you go to the octoling level in after alterna if you use the zipcaster to "zip" into a different canned special your basically stuck in the middle of the air and can't get down lol

If you kill a fish stick with the cannons in salmon run only using splash damage the whole fish stick will break and it just fades away
Sadly I do not have any footage but to get this to happen you need night , Cohock horde, cannon and a fish stick also this might possibly work with explosher

i used killer wail right before the cohozuna appeared. it showed on the cutscene
In the level "the path to perfect penmanship", you get different dialogue based on how clean you drew the imagine, also its an image of little buddy, you just have to go into the binocular palte thing that let's you see things from above
You can actually use the inkblot art academy trick in hammerhead bridge to hang out with some construction worker jellyfish working on the bridge!

in the salmon run training room you may know there are stickers to represent boss health but there is also a steel head stick on one up above. also, the golden egg refection on stage is the view from the helicopter

I have no clue whether somebody has said this or not but, once you fully complete the Hero Mode (Defeat Mr. Grizz), you might be wondering "Hey! What happens to Grizzco now?" Well the Mr. Grizz carving got replaced to a Hugefry with Mr. Grizz in their mouth. But, it reverts back to the normal sculpture while you are playing a shift. Just a fun little thing I thought was cool.
I did that reefslider thing but I was the one with reefslider. Me and the other slider wiped out the team and it was the craziest thing I’ve even done in any Splatoon game
1:20 I think there is actually a way to redo that by going into the last section of the menu that appears when you press X and then go into player setting or smth like that.

I found out that was possible the hard way during a Splatfest, in Mahi Mahi I went to the right but I aparently overshooted it so I just fell inmediatly
One time I beat cohozuna with one second left, however I only got the last 5 or so seconds recorded.

Fun fact! I don't have footage, but a good strategy I use for salmon run when it gets hard, is if there are multiple slammin lids near each other, you can jump between them and they won't hit you off!

In Grizzco, there are monitors linked to surveillance cameras in every place Little Buddy can be found in Splatsville.
I've been casually trying to find Little Buddy as a little personal game every time I boot up the game, and also noticed where those cameras were pointing, but somehow never put the two together to notice that! Neat, thank you for the info!
I did the zipcaster skip the first time i played that level
Once I was trapped in a croner and steel eel was coming for me and I was the last player alive. So I jumped in to the water throw my wave breaker and saved my team.

Yo detail I wanna point out. If you listen closely when standing to the non-enterable stores ie the phone stores you can hear faint music for each one, just like when you’re standing outside of the shoal or gizzco. This implies that even the stores you can’t even go into have their own music.

In the stage where you paint small fry with a ink/octobrush you can go back before you launch to the goal and mess everything up with more ink. Then launch to the goal. Marie will say something different when looking at it.

Heres some facts about salmon run
Did you know in salmon run if you have the explosher you can use that to destroy the buckets in the flyfish boss. Also during a cohozuna round the golden egg cannon can 1 shot any boss if aimed right
