York fan here, I feel your pain. The 'other income streams' argument is a red herring put about by amateurs who don't understand football finances. If the income stream is a casino then yeah, knock yerself out. We have a council owned ground with other income streams and it's due to break even some time next century. It's a drop in the bucket. What you actually need is to either 1. Live within your means or 2. Get a billionaire who is willing to piss money up the wall on his hobby and still get relegated (York)

Smaller clubs should be ground-sharing & even sharing training facilities:- All the income but only half the stadium management costs

This is sounding over for the Dale. I hate the fact we heard nothing then 'oh we need £2m! or we go bust in 6 weeks.'
The effort going in from fans is huge Gauge has just destroyed it. Let a buyer potentially sell the ground.
No way to run a club. Mid season, we wont even see it through. Fans cannot save this.

Exactly, Gauge looks and sounds like David Brent. He's holding the fans to ransom. I wonder how much money he's going to make from this deal that he wants?

@@nigelwatson2750gauge is making nothing from it.....
Thr£2million will go directly into the club..
Gauge and co will somewhere downline line recoup some if not all their money but that could be 5yrs away...

What has Gauge done with the money?

What money?? He had to put his own money in to keep the club running till this point.

£500K and that's just the parachute payments, plus one of the bigger attendances in the national league- yet we have the smallest playing budget in the division. Jim has worked wonders after the nightmare that was Jim Bentley - appointed by Gauge, don't forget. Gauge is a slime-ball. @@cbrads8175
