  • I bought these bar raisers from AliExpress for 27 dollar bucks. They work a treat, watch me install them myself on my CFMOTO 450MT

I'm short and also installed the same risers as the standard bars is more forward for my liking making me lean like what you demonstrated.

@@outie555 They are really nice and great to ride, the test rider can't say better things about them.

Great video, as always. I test ridden this bike yesterday and it was great. As a guy on the taller side (6'1"), I will also probably do these mods. My question is the following, I was watching the channel "R.N.G Performance", a channel of a mechanic that seems to be handling quite a few CF Moto bikes, and he said that the dust boot will always kick it on all CF Moto bikes. Have you heard anything like that?
In the country I live, there are a ton of CF Motos zooming around, but I have never heard anything like that. Or any reliability issues for that that matter. We have a very reputable magazine here, Motomag, and in their long-term review (365 days of 100Km/day min, never in a garage, and constant abuse) of the CF Moto 650 nothing like that came up.

Sorry brother what is dust boot? And what is the problem "kicking"? Sorry for my English

@@lucaconte7812 It is a protective cover that shields critical components of a motorcycle, think the tube-like thing that protects your bike's front fork.

@@Kevinjimtheone ok I got it and what is the problem with this cover?

@@lucaconte7812 He said in the video that the dust boot in the engine gets ripped, and the engines of CF Moto motorcycles get rekt because of all the dust the inhale from these holes.
I have never heard of something like that ever happening in a CF Moto bike, and the country I live in is full of them…

I have the same risers and it raised 3/4 of an inch and still leave enough slack, so an inch riser should be fine without rerouting the cables.

you do know that your local M/C shop sells bar risers don't you? most bar clamps are universal in design with only a few exceptions; all this shameless advertising for a Foreign owned company is just that, shameful; if you stop supporting your local dealer, don't complain when they close the doors and you have nowhere to go when you want your bike serviced or new tyres put on.

That is a great point. I did look but couldn't see them as there accessories selection was only a few shelves and all the bike types mixed together. The people behind the counter were too busy doing the paperwork to assist.

@@outie555 if your (chosen) bike shop staff are 'too busy' to assist you or the shop has a narrow selection of accessories/parts/tyres/clothing etc. vote with your wallet and go elsewhere; while i try my best to ALWAYS use CASH it's not always possible as some parts/accessories are simply not stocked; if we don't keep using cash it will disappear into the digital aether and 'they' can track and or decide what you can and can't buy; that said, many Aussie dealers have online stores; there is MXstore for all the non-specific parts we might need/want. Aussie made and owned B&B offroad make heaps of luggage/protection parts for the CFmoto; i can vouch for them making High Quality parts; i've been using their parts for many years; czcams.com/video/xWxlVqrpsvE/video.html
