This song is perfect at building suspense as you feel yourself slowly become surrounded by hundreds of zombies. It makes you feel every second, as you get closer to death. And this, is how you died.
This is me in my unfinished compound on max population zombies on peak day 15 after just barely surviving the helicopter event, realizing just how many really are surrounding my base, it was so bad I couldn’t leave anymore with a car, then eventually so bad I couldn’t leave on foot, and I eventually was forced to leave so I could find seed packets only to get swarmed by 200 zombies because I got too close to riverside.
I have the expanded helicopter events mod, an army helicopter circled around West Point 3 weeks or so into the game, and shot at me while I was outside looting, and was shooting at zombies, the gunfire drew in a horde of hundreds, if not thousands. 3:06 onwards was looped while I was trying to make my escape in my car, tires got blown out and they closed in on me.
I was running from a horde in rosewood in day 1, I usually start with 0 fitness and strength so it's a good challenge for me. I found a working car that had 4 litres of gas in it. I started driving and it's condition was so bad that on the road to muldraugh it stopped working. There were a lot of zombies so I sprinted to forest. After walking for like 10 minutes I found some kind of building with cars outside (office type). I went into building found some painkillers and food to last for 2 days. Picked up a chair and went into a cleaning supply room and put the chair. I started squatting and doing some push ups so I can at least reach to level 1. After 2 days I killed a lot of zombies while sneaking and pulling them away from their hordes, went into another building found some weapons and a gas can. With foraging I found a car key but the car had no gas in it, I checked every car and found 3 litres of gas and I took it. I went to sleep because my character was so tired, while sleeping around 20 zombies broke into my room and I ran away to that car filled it and escaped it. It was literally a zombie action movie moment.
Low: You see them on the horizon. A group of about twenty or so. Trouble, spread out like that. But manageable. You take out your gun, and pop skulls to an unknown beat... Medium: ...But they keep coming. Gunfire draws more and more- a good chance for a clear. You begin to worry, as you become forced back, moving at an even march as they shuffle just barely faster and die on time. High: The city streets are getting choked. It's easy to see just how badly you've poked the bear, as hundreds flood out, all of them hungering. It's high time for a last stand. If you survive, it will be a tale of legend, to regale any survivor you meet with. And if you don't... you have the comfort of dying a titan's death now.
Game description: West point is the epitomy of small town USA. My reasoning: Small town? That sounds like a good place to start shouldn't be too many zeds.
This played when I was clearing Rosewood because the expanded helicopter event helicopters had brought way too many zombies to my base (I play on settings that represent a zombie story I wrote once, long story short, there are a lot of helicopter events because a large amount of humanity is still alive) Regardless, I play as an Engineer so I get a genius idea to make a noisemaker (modded so it doesn't suck) to attract zombies into the field in front of the rosewood fire station, and then hit them with a ton of bombs. It goes horribly wrong because instead of about 30, 50, maybe 70 zombies coming, it was more like 200. This became a problem super fast, and I had to run away from the burning zombies, avoiding my own base as much as possible because they would've burned it. I almost died so many times, but I got a taxi and filled it up with gas, I made another fire bomb, went back, and burned more zombies. I also set corpses on fire. I was determined to kill all of them. The fire did basically nothing to the zombies, so I ran the opposite way of my base, then snuck back into rosewood, stayed in the treeline, then hopped the fence and got into my base. From there, I built pipe bombs, and finished the horde. I was shocked to see how many zombies I had single handedly killed.
Where ı live most of the people are muslim when someone dies prayer called Sela plays on the speakers it is sound so similar to this song lyrcs it is scary asf
The violin is very dramatic at the end. I would like to hear more of this. It is a pity that the authors do not know that music like this is really good.
Dear Project Zomboid player, only start to read it after you make sure that this music begun at 1:34 : It was morning, but you were tired yet. You hadn't sleepet almost nothing listening to them moaning all night. Hiden in the dark, staring at your barricaded window, away you saw some of them outside slowly passing through and going randomly to nowhere. There was no canned food left to eat and no water bottle left to satiate your thirsty at that moment. So... a spooky fear begun to hits you. And, man, it hited soo hard... making you think that you had to do something about it, you had to go outside, or else you couldn't handle it. But you had to. You had to handle it. Even not knowing for sure why, you just felt that they would won all that sh#@ if you give it up at that moment. And that made you begin to blame them. Blaming them of taking everything that once was good for you... everyone that once brought meaning to your miserable life... your own blood. Your poor little own blood beloved one... And than... a feeling started to growth inside of you. You started to squeeze strongly your hands and your jaw letting that feeling takes place of your body and mind. Felted it boiling... a fevering heat that made you sure... Made you sure that was time to make them felt it from you. ~~you takes your baseball bat and unlocks the door of your safe house~~ (From a player with more than 1.7k hours of this incredible game).

Never felt so good defending the base with friends while the night zombie horde attacked the base with this theme.
