I read that you first need to drain the resin from the leaf before extracting the gel because the latex in the resin can irritate the scalp… Have you experienced this ?
Yes, you should. I’ve cut into chunks and let is soak for a day or more, changing water frequently until I see clearer water.

You're welcome ! You can use it everyday if you want to. I like to store pure aloe vera gel in the freezer. Otherwise you can mix it with xanthum gum or guar gum and add a preservative and it can last you for up to 3 months at room temperature.

Thank you Sabrina ! I came mainly for my studies and there was more freedom during Covid. There are some other things that I like but things that I dislike as well. I’m in the North of Sweden and I’ll definitely move out of here. I’ll probably make a video about it.
Have you tried chia seed hair gel too or flax seeds?
Will try chia seed gel. Flaxseed gel was just less expensive for me and it was working well for my hair. I have several videos on my channel where I use flaxseed gel.

How often do you do this?
Not very often since I moved to Sweden. I used to use aloe Vera on my hair a lot (as well as other natural plants) when I was in the Caribbean and my hair was thriving.

I use applecider vinegar with water instead of shampoo.
That’s a great alternative to regular shampoos. I used to do that as well and my hair grew super fast during that period. Then I had to stop because it started drying out my hair.

I only use aloe juice as a prepoo. I also use it as a conditioner mixed with banana 🍌 & 🥑. I use 🍌 & banana juice a lot too.
