We were not taught financial literacy in schools. Nowadays I do not know if this is included in the curriculum . that is the major problem, only about 4 to 5 % of Indians are active in stock market and most of them are traders especially day traders which is not lucrative. Long term investment in good companies gives you more wealth than anything else
