I also think his vision on decentralization of production hubs for news and media is very constructive and promoting it is brave..

I've seen SRK promoting producers backing smaller films different times, it's very nice that he tries to promote this idea, since smaller movies can be more specific to address topics interesting to certain groups of viewers .. in another interview with Aamir and Karan Johar, SRK kept saying that smaller movies and movies from other parts of Indian movie industry should come to us, bigger production houses and we will promote them and give them the backing they need for their production, which is very nice.. and Karan went and produced and promoted 'Baahubali' and 'The Lunchbox' after that..

I am from Nepal and I have grown watching bollywood movies but last 4 5 years i have been watching tollywood movies and hollywood movies more Since i have grown up coz I have access to greater content like i even watch korean movies alot these days the competetion has grown and so bollywood movie has remain in its class it has not improved as expected comparing to other movie industry they really have to push hard to retain a consumer like me who loves watching bollywood movies. Love and support to shahrakuh khan and its time for bollywood to keep its prideness aside and start to colloborate and thats the only way to survive if u want to retain your consumer otherwise the viwers are already breaking that geograohical boundary so start colliborating for your own good

Shahrukh Khan is probably the best combination in a human being. He like an unrealistic mix of philosophy, arts and science.
But unfortunately his choice of films doesn't reflect that....
Rahul Ray I agree with you. However he does choose unconventional subjects once in 3 years. I think he deliberately doesn't choose off beat films because that would increase the risk of him losing that 'badshah of bollywood' title, so he opts for easier subjects, multistarrers or remakes where safer bets are placed. I think he calculates the prospective profits of his films even before they release and chooses the subjects accordingly. His main focus is on advertising campaigns or brands and he synchronises his moves accordingly without going into serious scripts or hardcore performance based roles. He is a shrewd businessman first and then an actor. Careful, calculative and probably an overthinker.

Shah rukh’s Business orientedness/ consumer culture trends that He promoted through his early movies and his life approaches, being the trend setter for brand endorsement/advertisement and entrepreneurship ventures by the artist have been great ideas and trends for a developing capitalist country that wants to advance, only if everyone could see that like many other Indians who see that and invite him to different meetings to talk about business entrepreneurs and management and consumer advancement.. here and on different movies and platforms, many people from different places discuss India because they’re attracted to Indian topics by being attracted and invested in Shah Rukh Khan, the same goes with Aamir Khan and their movies .. that’s the recognition their star power that they lend to every Indian topic they’re asked to participate in, is bringing for Indian content..

Even though Arnab voiced his different opinion critically toward SRK, Shahrukh wasn’t reactive or angry at all, didn’t seem so, neither visibly or invisibly.. he kept giving credit to Arnab over and over throughout the conversation.. that’s how much of critical thinker and debater SRK is that he doesn’t take any criticism or difference of thoughts and ideas personally and as an argument but as an opportunity for creative and critical discussion for exchange of ideas.. great discussioner and debater..

There is no creativity in being poor .. :)) nice witty/sarcastic reply from SRK to Arnab's out of context comment.. Arnab's comment was out of place and irrelevant to what SRK was saying that if we work together, collaboration is going to be profitable, profit can be put into production & more collaboration.. Arnub jumped on the chance to take a sly dig at Shah Rukh to instigate a response for news bite and to self promote I think since the talk was about production not the creation (they're different: creation is the script, story, acting, direction; production is putting all these together for distribution); just like distinguishing between artist and royal patronage..
that doesn't mean one cannot be creative & poor; then to spread creativity, give it platform & make it effective, one needs money, especially if creativity is in making films, which for its creation too one needs money .. like Rumi wasn't poor; he lived as a poor person following Shams and generated his beautiful & universal philosophies, then came back to his original life with his disciples & established institutions with his old money to spread his ideologies of love & universality.. same is with all musicians of Europe in 1800s even though most were poor, the work of the ones that had financial backing from patriots or family money got a strong platform.. I don't think Shah Rukh was trying to make an statement with that comment, he was being his witty self giving a come back humorous reply to an out of context comment..
Well & Surely Shah Rukh Khanji is 100% right......we have just scratched the surface......the potential is literally limitless....we have an amazing skilled, talented and creative resources. ..it's but time to ESTABLISH an invigorating and vibrant think tank to steer INDIA's awesome and fascinating entertainment industry into the 22nd century.......to provide quality and entertainment to not only people here in INDIA but all over the world..... .lots of infrastructure already exists here in Mumbai....however need a BIG financial, AI & digital technological injection to TRANSFORM into world class entertainment industry right here in beautiful MUMBAI. And the most interesting thing is I found a lot of respectful people quoting what ShahRukh was said, especially about the media and film industry at the future which is actually happening. And as an IT, I think Arnab a lil bit misleading and jump into the different point with what ShahRukh try to say. And public make a drama about being rich and a philosopher. People should listen to the whole minutes, not only part of “insulting”. At least we could understand for each opinion, especially they were not only have two guests there.
Globalization of media and news can be possible but Arnab didn't provide any solution or how it will be a possibility and a challenge to meet.. he provided a lot of self promoting comments and general round figures/views and yabber .. Shah Rukh on the other hand had presented some steps and insightful reflection on the gradual changes that may occur with unique sense of innovative conviction and wasn't just chattering.. he’s such an insightful mind..
