    Otyken are brilliant and very unique. This is by far my favourite song that you've covered by them so far. The lady singer has an outstanding voice.
    I'll be honest, they're not what I'd usually listen to and not quite my cup of tea, but there's definitely something about them that's intriguing and makes you listen. I enjoyed this song and reaction a lot... 🤘🤘

    Many people from Central Asia are Turkic (not Turkish, but there are historical/language connections).
    Also, when you look at Siberian Natives, it's easy too see the connections with American Natives :
    animist and shamanic religions, traditions, nomadic houses, way of life, clothing, music, dance...
    10.000 years ago, the Bering straight was frozen, and people crossed it on foot/horse/reindeer,
    and settled on whole "american" continent, a long time before it was "discovered" (infected,
    invaded, stolen, spoilt, and destroyed) by Europeans, and named America, of course !
    That's how shit happened, but this is another story....called History !

    The lyrics are in old Turkic language about Turkic mythology "Tengrism" it is also my belief and culture. I know something What my great grandfather told me he die long time ago but i never forget!!
    Ummet Lyrics -
    Tengri, Kayra, Adaghan, Ulgan, Mergen, Kyzaghan, Umay, Kuara, Kubai, Koyash, Jak(ak) Ana, Ay Ata, Gun Ana, Yel Ana, Yel Ata...
    Tengri - God of Sky. Originally the sky itself. Creator of everything. Tengri was the main god of the Turkic pantheon, controlling the celestial sphere.
    Kayra / Kaira - Supreme God of universe. He is the Spirit of God and creator god in Turkic mythology.
    Adaghan - Mountain God. He protects the mountains and the creatures that live there. His name means sacrifice acceptor.
    Ulgan / Ulgen - God of benevolence. Son of Kaira. He is a Turkic and Mongolian creator-deity.
    Mergen - God of wisdom. Son of Kaira. He is a Turkic deity of abundance and knowledge.
    Kyzaghan - War god of the European Huns. The first Turks did not have a war god. Kyzaghan is the son of Kayra and the brother of Ulgan.
    Umay / Umai - Goddess of fertility. She is the goddess of virginity and as such related to women, mothers and children.
    Kuara - God of Thunder and son of Tengri. He is comparable to Thor in Norse Mythology.
    Kubai - Goddess of birth and children. She protects women who give birth. She gives the children souls.
    Koyash / Kuyash - Sun God. Koyash is the son of Gok Tengri.
    Jak(ak) Ana - Goddess of creation. Ak Ana, is the primordial creator-goddess of Turkic people. She is also known as the goddess of the water.
    Ay Ata - Moon God. According to the mythology, he is a moon god and he have been living in sixth floor of the sky with Gun Ana (Goddess).
    Gun Ana - Sun Goddess. She is the common Turkic solar deity, treated as a goddess in the Kazakh and Kyrgyz mythologies.
    Yel Ata - God of winds. In Hungarian folklore he is also referred to as the "king of wind"

    Thank you for your wonderful reaction 🙏
    Throat singing is a traditional singing technic used by turkic and mongolian folks since thousands of years, so Ozcan can definitely use the throat singing technic.
    Ummet Ozcan and the members of Otyken are from turkic origin,no matter from which county they are, they are related. Also most of the instruments they use here are very old Turkic instruments. The area around the Altay mountains in Siberia is the place where many turkic tribes came from and Otyken is the name of the first capitol of all Turkic tribes. Therefore the Altay mountains and the area around it, is sacred to all turkic tribes. By the way Ozcan sings about the old Turkic gods and goddesses the turks believed in, when they where shamans. Some of the gods and goddesses Ozcan sings about are :
    * Tengri = sky god. He is the creator of everything. Tengri was the main god of the Turkish pantheon who controlled the celestial sphere.
    * Kayra or Kaira = Supreme God of the Universe
    * Adaghan = mountain god.
    * Ülgen or Ulgen = God of goodness.
    * Mergen = God of wisdom.
    * Kyzaghan/Kızagan = god of war
    * Umay = goddess of fertility. She is also the goddess of virginity and therefore refers to women, mothers and children.
    * Kuara = God of Thunder
    * Kubai/Kübey = Goddess of birth and children. It protects women who give birth.She gives children soul.
    * Koyash/Kuyaş = Sun God. Koyash is the son of Sky Tengri and the Earth Goddess.
    * Ak Ana = (Ak means White) Goddess of Creation. She is the original creator goddess of the Turkish people. She is known as the goddess of water.
    * Ay Ata = God of the Moon.
    * Gun Ana/Gün Ana =
    Goddess of the Sun.
    * Yel Ana = Goddess of the Wind
    * Yer Ata = God of the Earth
    * Od Ata or Öd-Ögöd = God of time. In Turkish mythology, he is seen as the personification of time. Often seen with the "Time Horse"
    Od Ana = Goddess of Fire. She is also called the goddess of marriage
    (Ata = Father/Ancestor,
    Ana = Mother)

    Otyken is a Russian indigenous music group from Siberia that mixes elements of modern pop music with local folk music, using traditional instruments, lyrics and languages. “Otyken” is a word in the Chulym language, translated into Russian meaning “sacred place of power; a place where soldiers laid down their weapons."
    The group "Otyken" was formed in 2015 by Andrey Medonos, and their debut album was released in 2018. As of December 2023, the group has over two million followers on TikTok, over two hundred thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and six hundred thousand subscribers on CZcams. The group members are representatives of indigenous Siberian peoples from the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
    The ethnic music group “Otyken” consists of various representatives of the small peoples of Siberia: Chulyms, Kets, Selkups, Khakass and Dolgans. Their main style is a combination of different musical genres with the sound of ethnic instruments and throat singing. This kind of music is called World Music. The tracks are released in Chulym, Khakass, Dolgan and Russian. The group members play both authentic and rare instruments - jew's harp, ikili, khomys - as well as drums, bass guitar, keyboards and saxophone. Throat singing is often combined with recitative. The group films most of their videos outdoors: in the forest, on a frozen river, on mountain tops. The idea to create a group came to Andrei Medonos, who is its producer and songwriter. The group was created with the aim of preserving Chulym folklore, traditions and songs that are on the verge of extinction. The honey plant, not of Siberian origin, grew up in his family's apiary in the Siberian wilderness among indigenous people who maintained long-standing beekeeping traditions. Andrey also took up beekeeping, but also became interested in Chulym culture: hunting, fishing, gathering, and married a woman from the indigenous population. In 2013, Medonos launched a CZcams channel on which he began to share Chulym culture. There he demonstrated an apiary made from traditional log hives and Chulym folklore - the dances and songs that historically accompanied honey production. In 2015, the Otyken project was formed, which became a partner of Medonos in the production of wild Chulym honey. Their honey products (Ethno-Honey) became popular in Japan, and sales helped form the band and finance music production, instruments, equipment and costumes. Otyken released their first album in 2018. The following year, a yurt was built at the apiary for rehearsals and meetings, and concerts began to be held regularly at the museum.

    These guys are cool no doubt, but I still prefer the Mongolian band The HU better.

      Who can try to weigh someone else's taste? ... But ... this two band (or co-production) they are very different frequencies. I love Hu too, they sing about the victories of Genghis Khan and the awakening of the Mongols or It tells us how important women and mothers are to society; and they make rock music, and they do it well.
      On the other hand, Otyken and Ummet call the old gods by their names (Wake up call) and do this with modern electro club music. Did you know Ummet is a real life Shaman? He is an ardent follower of Tengri and Ancient Turkic gods are becoming increasingly popular among Turkic communities from Balkans to Siberian forests.
      Bottom line: They're like orange and ham, it's up to you which one you like.

    Уммет этот Озкан тут гость, которого пригласили, как мне кажется, увеличить аудиторию Отукен за счёт его аудитории.
    Отукен - главная звезда, у которрй есть мужчины с гордовым пением.
    Так что диджей Озкан, спасибо за соучастие, но не обольщайся, твоя роль здесь второстепенна)
