I'm crushed IKEA discontinued the Farlov sofa in the U.S. along with the olive green velvet cover. I really had my heart set on it.
I saw this same gal doing a review on the sebai couch. And chatted w her a bit. Said she liked oy so maybe that one would be of interest.

Hi Eshi, I have a cat that has destroyed a lot of my furniture. I am looking for a new couch, do you think the suede will resist cat scratching? It looks really nice. Love your videos, found you because I may move to San Diego next summer and loved your video apartment tours.
Thank you so much! My cats haven't even made a scratch on this couch, so there's definitely something very durable about this material. They don't go crazy on clawing at furniture (thankfully lol), but they have definitely played on this, and again, I haven't seen anything!
Random tip I've found- if you find your cats scratching at a particular piece of furniture, try to place a scratching post nearby. I guess they love pieces that have your scent all over them (beds, couches, etc), but giving them an outlet for this close by really helps.

That's a good question, I'm not sure! I know when I was ordering mine back in March, it would go in and out of stock in San Diego.
I have the Farlov chair (in the green velvet) and absolutely love it….it is my favorite chair!….I wanted the loveseat sleeper for my office, but waited too late and then it was discontinued (hopefully, I can find it second hand).

Is it squeaky when someone’s partner gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom? Is it sturdy when someone’s partner tosses and turns in their sleep? I’m a light sleeper
Definitely not squeaky! We also only use it with the mattress topper on top, which helps with the tossing and turning situation. With just the mattress it comes with, I'd imagine it would still be pretty good.
Sounds like you need your get rid of your partner.

Mine is having a latch issue, instead of the latch resting on the pegs, they are getting stuck under and its nearly impossible to open the sofa bed... is anyone else having this issue? I found one other person with this issue who posted this video: czcams.com/video/TRKjyaBaiT4/video.html
I'm sorry, I wasn't having that problem! I would try Ikea's customer service honestly
@@EshiJay Thank you! I actually was able to pry them up with a crowbar, and then open the bed phew!😅 Will have to be careful to make sure the latch rests on the pegs when we close it...

That's toooo complicated to put together. IKEA instructions are useless and faulty. I would prefer to have it assembled at the factory (or wherever) and have it delivered whole.
There's lots of services (Task Rabbit, etc) that will put furniture together for you, you may want to look into that!
