    That is...the coolest Traitor Guardsman...I have ever seen!

      I really like the QM3D stuff. It's always got just enough extra detail you could spend forever painting it if you wanted, but the little touches make them really stand out on the table with just a tiny bit of work, too.

    that is one cool mini, he reminds me of Fallout a bit

    Thank you for introducing all these cool and original minis to us ❤. This one kind of reminds me of these "40K as a 80s dark fantasy" AI reels (and I mean this as a compliment) 🙂

      I've seen a couple of those recently, I think I can see where he'd fit in with that look.

    Great looking figure and finish! He really does have a grungy look to him. Thanks for haring this.

    The dude looks cool as hell. I love the beat up look to his armor. The Harbingers would make great Traitor Guard for 40K as counts-as minis, or really any beat up, evilish unit for a sci-fi/post apocalyptic warband. But yeah, a whole bunch of these guys as Khorne worshippers... do up some tanks in the same style, maybe with a little kitbashing to customize them... that would be a really badass looking army.

    These new minis are incredible, remember me of some old (late '70s) dark sci -fi french comics, and I hope that someone will do similar ones in plastic (I don't have a 3D printer!).

    I like how the armor picked up a cast iron look. Nice work.

    Wow, I love all the models in this range. Truly cool stuff. (And the paint jobs ain't half bad either.)

      If you haven't got the Trench Devils from the earlier Kickstarter, too, I think you can put those on as an additional pledge at the original Kickstarter price. That's a ludicrously good deal, especially knowing that *all* the stretch goals for them are included!

    Excellent video. Watching it a question popped into my mind; are you still using Water+?

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  Před rokem

      I'd really like to, but getting it's a little more difficult after Brexit. There's a supplier in Sweden, but even then... eeenh, it's a kerfuffle to get my hands on it. I don't know what I'll do once my Varnish+ runs out! I wouldn't use Water+ to thin out that much paint though; normal tap water does the job just fine in the main.

    Random enough question but have you ever used streaking grime? Or oil washes?

    Great vid as always! Do you think you could check out Highland Miniatures? They do awesome sculpts for Oldwammer Fantasy empire minis. I’ve picked some up and am starting a force but struggling with how to make the horses on the pistoliers look better. Not too sure on where to highlight etc. ps I’m choosing averland so would be cool to see your take on the colour scheme!

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  Před rokem +1

      As chance would have it, I've got a few of their files already - their 'Sunland' stuff does lend itself awfully well to an Averland colour scheme, I'd say! 😅 I've actually got a couple of the greatsword-style units I'm planning to tackle. As for horses, I hate painting the buggers as well most of the time, but I'll see what I can do.

      @@SonicSledgehammerStudio ain’t chance a fine thing! I’ve got some great swords and some hand gunners arriving in the post tomorrow! These are the first minis I’ve painted in about 3 years and really enjoying being back in the hobby again! Thanks for the reply it’s much appreciated!

    these guys are fighting with guns and lazer pistols but the chainmail underneath is going to save them....LOL ...its like having a few sheets of paper as padding in the medieval ages while they bring an axe on you...looks cool though...gona give them that..
