- Scott McTominay’s stoppage-time brace denied Brentford all three points at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Mathias Jensen steered Thomas Frank’s side ahead from inside the penalty area on 26 minutes as the Bees took a deserved lead into half time.
After the break, Brentford defended manfully and presented a threat on the break. Christian Nørgaard and Neal Maupay both saw efforts tipped over by Andre Onana but there was to be late heartbreak.
Introduced in the closing stages of normal time, McTominay drilled home an equaliser three minutes past the 90 before flicking the winner beyond Thomas Strakosha with the last action of the game.

Its always been the same with United, if they are 1-0 down the referee will add time on until they equalize or win, its been going on for years, that's where Fergie time comes from. You never hear of Pep time or Klopp time, or Arteta time, its disgusting!

Good performance from the Bees, but they have to play to the final whistle. They more or less did everythjing right apart from win the game.
Kris Ajer's unfortunate clearance that fell to McTominay really cost us the three points. If he had really hammered it away then we would have won the game. At the moment, it is the small things that are costing us valuable points.
Let us hope that after the international break we come back stronger and can put a positive run together to get ourselves clear of the relegation area. Perhaps we will get the run of the green which we could really do with. Our list of injured players is pretty long and it would be good for Thomas to have more positive selection problems when some of those players return to the squad.

Where is the offside in the goal disallowed, I can’t see it , interfering player’s no , player who scored wasn’t offside , others yep but they didnt score . The offside rule is utter nonsense now .
Actually understanding it might help. #9 Martial is clearly offside and involved in the play. It looks like he touches the ball just before it is put in the net.
Ball goes in keeper makes save , martial falls over , ball gets crossed as martial is coming back into the box , don’t think he touched it , ball gets put into the net . Honestly how have they still not just made mctominay into a striker he literally has just the attributes of a striker plus is literally in those positions he does the best in. In terms of tackling he’s shit, in terms of shooting I believe he has amazing statistics now I know statistics aren’t always the best way to measure but if you see mctominay play. He’s good at carrying the ball, he’s good at getting into positions where defenders don’t expect him to be, he’s good at shooting, he can win in the air as he is 6,4 ft tall, he’s not afraid of a challenge, and got decent amount of pace like not a lot but enough for striker plus he’s literally pretty much just good in the final third, and he literally played as a striker althrough youth yet because some idiot is like he’s tall let’s stick him into cdm people keep playing him there when he sucks at defending it makes no sense
