    Great video. I recently bought one of these and you covered it perfectly!

    Great Video! I'm looking into this model. Would the 10W be good for rubber stamp making. Can you make stamp out of a metal material as well? Thank you so much in advance.

      Thanks- I have stamp material but haven't made any stamps so I can't say for 100%. Making a stamp out of metal will not work with any power laser diode machine- for this a split fiber machine is better suited. Thanks for watching!

    How long did it take to engrave your project?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Longer than higher power machines- this being a 5 watt it took about 17 minutes for the Basswood ply and 36 minutes for the pressboard. I recommend to look at the 10 watt version- not only can you run much faster, the cutting action opens a lot more project possibilities! Thanks for watching!

    How well does it work on stainless steel?

      I'll have to take a look- I do have some stainless steel tags on hand! Thanks for watching!

      @@thelaserchannel1 thanks! I'm deciding to get this cube or something more powerful

      @@ShortBetter Nice- the iCube I have is 5 watts and will do alot. I have more experience with 10 watts and it's a very flexible 10 watt-good power and good engraving detail! The portable size is nice- many projects just don't need a massive work area! Cheers!

      @@thelaserchannel1 would you recommend the cube for engraving stainless steel watches? I will work only with watches and bracelets .. Wonder if it's enough power

    mine ran about 8hrs strait today at a festival only thing i dislike is its not really true to power as compared to the atom stack 5w and it does not run 10,000mm a min

      How do you mean the power is not really 5 watt optical or runs at 10,000 mm/m? I run at 6,000 mm/m and it made the speed. My settings are on pair for a 5 watt laser module. I'm curious to know- thanks for sharing!

      @@thelaserchannel1 it’s advertised I run 10,000mm a minute that’s totally not true, it’s more on the lines of 6000 a min and that’s the maximum it will run and compared to my old atom stack 5w it’s not even close to the same power, don’t get me wrong it’s a cool little machine but it’s definitely not what it says it is, and also the front will need to be braced up because the plastic housing will start to sag. But I did pay for mine so I can tell the absolute truth I have voiced my concerns and opinions to them and got ( push the cover under the front it will hold it up) not the response to send me at all it needs aluminum all the way around to make it stronger and btw my floor plate is even warped up so maybe I got a bag one
