    Miss Helseth , I heard you play live at in New York . My old teacher said the most important aspect of playing is beauty. You achieve that with every note you play. Bravo !

    They are all accomplished players but I don't think either the arrangements or the selection are very exciting, except the final Quintet, which is one of the great pieces of C20 theatre music.

      Leonard Bernstein did it

    • @Marlene55M
      @Marlene55M Před 5 lety +2

      While Bernstein wrote the original score and arrangement, he most certainly did not write this brass version. I guess it could be Jarle Storløkken, because on Tine Thing's homepage he is mentioned as the group's arranger:
      "The group work closely with Norwegian guitarist and arranger Jarle Storløkken in the arrangement of scores for the ensemble, enabling them to play pieces of differing instrumentations."

      @@johnc1975Drabass certainly has a right to his opinion. I certainly have a right to ask for an example of his fine playing. Like I ask for examples of the piano playing of the two that constantly criticize the piano playing of some young and talented women pianists with examples of brilliant copy/paste reviews from deadbeat and unknown reviewers from third rate publications. So far, they've never risen to the challenge. So they must be full of ship. Besides. "Holger" (I believe) is a Norwegian Surname. Maybe there is an element of ethnic jealousy. He can't take the thought that ten women are far better them himself.
