While I'm so impressed by all that Sue Bird has accomplished I am also shocked that she supports transgender females competing in women's sports. This is hypocritical to all the young girls that aspire to follow in her footsteps, and a betrayal to women's sports! Had she had to compete against transgender females and was over taken by them when she was playing I don't believe that she would be supporting this cause! In fact the documentary wouldn't be about her it would be about the transgender woman and all of her accolades. Remember Lia Thomas? Coming soon to a theater near you!

I find it interesting that while she is promoting a documentary on her lifes success in Basketball she is also promoting transgender females playing in women's sports. Does this mean that she doesn't really care about the women trying to make a career in basketball going forward, just her own success matters?
