- My analysis of the top layouts from the China International Pet Show (CIPS) layout contest in Shanghai.
I gave comments on my top 3 as well as on the top 3 chosen by the judges.
Enjoy, and have a happy New Years~!
i really like watching your videos, very informative and educational for a aquascaper who would like to get better and better. thank you for sharing
Just saw your interview from Ryo Watanabe! So cool to see someone from Hawaii make it big!
Waoo Steve!
I really enjoyed the breakdown of those scapes. As a new aquascaper I find it tough to follow along with the critique of other aquascapes without "seeing" what they mean. The overlays made it easy to learn and translated well into my tanks.
Learned a lot from you video..Tq Steve
These videos are wonderful, really enjoy the analysis as someone new to aquascaping
I really appreciate your insight here. I'm a new aquascaper myself. Right now I have a 55 that's went from fake to heavy planted with no forethought. I have invested like 2k into a 75 now and I am setting it up. I have a TON of Mopani looking wood I found on the beach that I sandblasted. Really cool, turns almost purple under water and I have about 120# of Pagoda Stone. I'm having a hard time getting it like I wanted it. I've builded it twice now and completely torn down. I'm talking a ton of Gorilla Glue Putty and GE Silicone and everything! Lol. But I'm just not happy. It's my experience completely. Really wish I had your knowledge in my back pocket. Your insight is giving me some great ideas of what to do on my own. LOVE IT!
Very informative and useful critique, thanks!
Thank You Steven! You are absolutely right with that big flat rock at the front, but the time was ticking :D Thank You for making that video Cheers bro! M.A.
Super like it Steve! keep it up bro! =)
Great critiques! Thanks for sharing. Working in photoshop, you may find the clone tool to be super helpful when you are extending and eliminating structures whilst suggesting improvements.
How do they make the further structure more faded? It look so distanced
