sir currently there are two books in market haralamnorg and hornbol book with blue cover 8 th edition and other is haralambor orange book suggest me which one to buy
Buy either one.... Blue is more comprehensive, but difficult to go through..... But orange is a smooth read, If you are following lectures, then orange is preferable... If not, then blue!!

sir i just wanted to appreciate your efforts for teachingg us this subject . your teaching is no doubt fabulous and i genuinely have a request to make . i m a student of sociology in BHU and i request you to cover the topics of B.A sociology as a subsidiary subject .i dont knw much about this sbjct nd now it creates difficulty bcoz our cllg professor doesnt evn take clsses. the topics are not much nd i still try to attend your videos but i cant find some of those content from my syllabus. its reqst sir pls do help.
I would advise you to go through these lectures... I have covered only 50% of syllabus till now.... this encompasses both BA/MA level sociology.... This will build your strong foundation for sociology.... If some topics specific to your college syllabus are left, you can cover them on your own, once your foundations of the subject are strong!!

Critical thinking is a broader term... One can think critically in topics related to Philosophy, History, Psychology, Politics , Economics and other aspects of life and knowledge in general whereas Sociological Imagination pertains to analysing and deconstructing reality from a sociological standpoint!!

Sir your content is so good, sir I have only one doubt that you have suggested to read Blue haralambos but the book has so much content either we have to read each
topic you are covering because it has so many data & the starting topic of 1st 3 lecture I am unable to find in it from where we can read those topic, sir if possible can you
make a small video on how to read and what to read in blue haralambos if possible
These books are made from academic standpoint and not from upsc perspective... So you won't find all the topics there...... I would suggest you to focus on lectures and making notes out of them...... You need to read these books very selectively.....see the syllabus, then lectures, then you will come across some (not all) topics mentioned in the syllabus in these books.... Read them.... From Haralambos, one can cover 70% of P1. Also, when I say selectively, read only 40% of book.
