My favorite part about Yudanaka was the old guy parking warden, on the street in front of his hotel, trying to warn people it's slippery - like "SLIP!" *waves hand* "SLIP!" *waves hands* - as people literally slid by in front of him down the steep, icy street.

How long is the trip from tokyo to nagano ? would you advise staying there for 2 nights ?(I am afraid to get bored) + I am actually hesitating to either go to Nagano either go to Hakone ? I can't do both unfortunately. I have 2/3 days left to plan in my route and I am hesitating between these 1 .... (I'll be leaving from Tokyo)
