Sharmin wants to interrupt everyones answer , her voice is so dominating
Her voice is masculine, her acting is nil. Could not agree more that she should not have been cast in this series period. Obviously the sole reason she was, is because of nepotism. Had he cast a good actress in her role, the series would have been far better.
Why is Sanjeeda ignored? The interviewer barely asked her any questions and the camera also didn't focus on her. Apart from Manisha, Sanjeeda was best in Heeramadi..
Neither the looks, nor the acting, nor the voice-what was Sanjay Leela Bhansali thinking when he cast Sharmin Segal Mehta in this role? I don't understand. Whenever her face appears or she delivers a dialogue, I feel like breaking the monitor. Her acting and dialogues are so irritating, it's unbelievable.
In stark contrast, Aditi Rao Hydari was amazing. She is beautiful, has an excellent voice, perfect height, a lovely smile, expressive face and eyes, well-shaped eyebrows, and a graceful walk-everything about her was captivating. It's baffling why Bhansali didn't choose her for the main role, given her incredible talent and screen presence. It's a shame that nepotism influenced such an important casting decision.
Why is everyone praising SLB? He is not a perfectionist, if he had been he would have casted a better Alamzeb.
it's not Sharmin Sehgal fault, it's SLB fault to cast her. The director who is so particular about every minute detail somehow manage to overlook god awful acting. He lost a little bit respect from my side.
I was thinking exactly that too but then I heard that she is SLB’s niece..
i agree but she put zero effort in - she's also to blame...
What to do , family pressure is something too… he also would hv not thought she would turn out so bad .. he tried really hard to concentrate her eyes and voice which is the best feature in her but he didn’t know beauty without emotions have no meaning …
@@thetrendisbts1306 I didn't even like her voice and shreya ghoshal giving vocals for the her mujra song, I was like in what world these both voices meet. Not to mention that god awful dance with stiff movements, expressionless face, feake tears. And in every interview she talks about her "ACTING"

Sanjeeda is a much senior in acting and extremely talented, but Sharmin keeps jumping into answering so that she looks smart among them. She doesn’t have the manners.

Lajjo is a mind blowing actress. Her character is very different & difficult from others. It was love mad charecter.Sonakshi is anit heroin in hiramondu. Lajjos character is so much hard....

Sharmin being always late in set and her general attitude turned me off ; while the others are all proud of their craft . I want to defend her from negative comments about her because I really enjoyed the entire series but listening to her interviews' she deserves all the negative reviews.
She has so much to learn from the other casts - for one, punctuality in the set is very important. It means you have respect for others and you take your job seriously.
How can Sharmin say she wants to play the role of Mallikajaan? That is so rude ! A professional reply should be that they played all their parts the best. To say that Mallikajaan is her inner soul is very scary too😂 That's not a very brillant statement
Sharmin seems like an arrogant person to me. The way she is talking and behaving is not appreciatable
Waheeda's role was very compelling and the actress was very good and wellcast. But her backstory was missing.

Watch it again I think you miss heard, they were not raving about their own acting instead giving all the credit to the director who helped them to do the justice for the assigned character which we people are going crazy over, there is a difference it’s easy to blabber

Thank god before watching such interviews and reading these comments I watched the whole series in one go and didn't bother about sharmin's acting skills, cause i was just stuck to manisha aditi and sanjeeda's acting.

Were you on the set to know enough ? Perhaps it's just that too much training changes your style. Besides it's the expressionless lifeless person who was torn between resisting becoming a tawaif and choosing love. So it may just have been that way...so taking up a role which would receive so much flak for naivette etc. would be a risk more trained actors wouldn't. Besides we have so many movies on courtesans that we are coloured by our understanding. Besides women in different ages behave differently. It's the ultimate truth that women are more vicious about women. Actually no fresh talent from some UP, Bihar can replace PPL born in class...would any Bollywood actresses go for the role . Like it or lump it.

Others young cast member like Saima ( the maid) Shama (waheedans daughter) or even the girls who played young Malikajaan & young waheedan could have done Alamzeb's role so much better.
Its obvious if botox face sharmin wasnt his niece She would have been thrown out of the door after the 1st audition itself
So she wouldn't even have gotton a chance to give 17 so called auditions, let alone be selected.
She just cant act with that stone face, hoarse voice, dead eyes.
She doesn't even have pretty face, nor grace, dialog delivery, dancing skill or acting skill
yet she & her PR team is trying to fool the audience into thinking that she got the role through merit😂
yea Aditi Rao should have played Alam, it would have been so wholesome to watch her. Even Saima or Shama could have pulled that role gracefully as well. the series would have been perfect had Sharmin was cast in rather smaller part instead of Alam. in small part she could have tried her acting craft rather than giving her a major part in the first place. it was so intolerable to watch Alam. i had to skip forward her parts and couldnt enjoy to the fullest.

i am sorry but the only beautiful woman in the movie was Aditi Rao haideri... She was a real beauty.. Sanjeeda was also good. Heera mandi meant diamond not Gold. Diamond must be unique in beauty. No offense..just my personal point of view.
Heeramandi is called heeramandi because of the man Heera Singh who used to have a vegetable mandi there. That’s how the name was given to that place. The name has nothing to do with the tawaifs of Heeramandi
