What a day I had on the Rum River, MN! The smallmouth bass were hitting hard, and I managed to catch a few decent ones.

I was just fishing the Rum River yesterday in Cambridge. Fished for a few hours, only caught a 6-7 inch Small mouth. Still a good looking spot and probably has decent fish.

@noahn8503 A lot of the fishing spots are about the season and timing. Try it again during spring or mid/late summer. I plan to fish the dam in the future.

My favorite stretch of river to fish with slow moving current. Launch by the Anoka fairground and drift fish down to the bridge and turn back around. lol
