I had these records a long time ago when my children were small. We all cleaned house together on weekends because I was a teacher and could not do this during the week. The girls are all grown now, married, and have children of their own but still remember the days when we all sang their songs together! This brings back wonderful memories!!!!

The very first version was on his album "Great Things Happen" The original recording was kind of bland but when they made the Hi God album they redid it nicely including the words he speaks at the beginning. They revamped the Great Things Happen album later on and replaced the original with that version and was the one included in Glory & Praise volume one. I do love more the original words. He revamped the song to include everyone and a verse with a Eucharistic theme for communion time at mass. But the personal prayer it originally was... I agree...is the best. ❤😊

The original version of Only a Shadow by Carey Landry on the "HI GOD" album has been truncated, for me, it's the only version that I really like.
