- The peace lily plant leaves start drooping due to lack of watering or not enough light. There’s two main reasons the leaves choose to start dropping. The first reason is because the plant is thirsty and desiring more water. The second reason is because the plant has been watered too heavy and is now dealing with oversaturation. You have to be careful because the peace lily plant is very susceptible to root rot.
You need to learn to master watering this plant appropriately. Plan on watering it once a week on average and let it dry out until the leaves start to droop a tiny bit. The plant will tell you when it wants to be watered. You should also get used to feeling the substrate or soil with your finger to see and feel if it needs to be watered.
This plant is used to being on the moist jungle floors, and only receiving indirect lighting. So it enjoys having fairly moist soil, which makes it extremely difficult not to overwater this plant. The most common reason the peace lily dies is due to overwatering. Just be very diligent and how much you water and make sure it receives an adequate amount of indirect lighting every single day.

Thanks for the easy way of information you gave ,I have peace lily leaves drooping ..I couldn't figure the cause ?
Hey! So a neighbor was unfortunately evicted & there things were thrown away. Thankfully I rescued their plants.
They had this Peace Lily outdoors, in the same pot as an outdoor flower. Got them seperated & her into her own pot.
She is completely fallen over. Any suggestions? Thanks! 😊
Do you mind sharing what type of lighting setup required for indoor plants. If you don't have natural light .
also over exposure to sunlight
How can you over water this plant if it can be grown in water??
Should i water my peace lily the day before it starts drooping ?
Wish you would have showed the plant actually in a droop.
