Sophie doesn't like hitting the dance floor, so she avoids throwing shapes at all costs. However, Miles, Sophie's friend, boogies like nobody's business and always tries to encourage Sophie to strut her stuff. Miles keeps telling Sophie that dancing is a release and can also help her brain. For a few weeks, Sophie has sat on the fence, deciding whether to dance. Finally, she felt a twitch when listening to pop music and started dancing. From then on, she has been boogieing ever since.

After giving birth, I spend most of my time taking care of my kids and my whole family, I haven't had much time to relax and care of myself, which leads me to suffer from stress.
Last night, when I passed the park next to my house, I saw many people throwing shapes, laughing so loud and talking with each other. My friend told me that was Mrs Huong's dance class. It was so interesting, I guessed they had lots of fun to get together and strutted their stuffs. Then I told my friend that I wanted to attend that class with them, but I didn't have time. I meant I still sat on the fence about giving the dance class a go. My friend told me A dance a day kept a doctor away afterwards. Finally I decided to enroll for that class.
At first, movements were quite hard for me. After few weeks, I did it like nobody's business. I felt like it was a release for me to get out of stress and it also helped me to promote divergent thinking, led to a happier and creative brain.
I have still joined the dance class at all costs. I go to the class at around 5 o'clock and at night, before going to bed, I open a random piece of music as usual, close my eyes, feel a twitch inside my body and just dance.

    My story:
My grandmother ‘s going to reach her 80 next month, but she’s always full of vitality. She freaking love hitting the dance floor, she’s an significant inspiration to me to reach out of my comfort zone.Boogieing is also an effective way to me to release all my stress or anger.whenever my grandmother’s dancing , i couldn’t help laughing , how’s cute . I just try to suppress a smile , but my grandma still see the corner of my mouth twitch.especially , whenever i was sitting on the fence , my grandma always give me an advise that”just do what you to do” .

It's been years since I last danced. When I was younger, around in my 20s, I used to go to discos to dance to different kinds of music, and remember having relished those moments. I stil do, but when I (try to) dance it feels weird because I seem to have forgotten how to move at all 🙃. So I prefer to play "Just Dance" and follow dance routines; for now it's eaiser than moving my body on my own 😂.

I love to dance, in the secondary School our music prof. Forced us to dance, he put some music and we had to dance all together just for some minutes, this Helped us to remove shyness or fear to do it. I never understood what that was for. I guess that this depend also from your culture and the family root, if yor parents use to dance you feel it like a norma thing to do, but the ability to feel the music in our body and move it accordigly with its rythm it is something you cannot learn, it is innate.
