I just love listening to Clive’s voice make his carefully crafted arguments about Arsenal related subjects
Will admit you are spot on. Can't say I'd seen him to much before but its a very smooth asmr like voice
Clive just takes the emotions out of it and looks at pure logic and what makes sense. It is such a refreshing listening experience. He understands the phases of evolution of the Arsenal squad and gives Arteta and Co their respect for the fact that Arsenal is, after so many years, part of the possible trophies conversations. Clive is Emotional Intelligence personified when discussing the Arsenal! Appreciative!
Just love to listen to Clive, very calm and knowledgeable.
It's great to listen to Clive one of the best pod casters on Arsenal
Watch the U21 match highlights from 2 days ago, 6-3 to us, great Saka style goal from Cozier Duberry!
I too am so pleased with Tomiyasu’s goal and the reaction he got from the rest of the boys. He was so happy and the boys couldn’t have been more supportive of him.
Clive palmer, one of my best sport analysts. Very balanced in his analyses. When I see his name or face, I click...
Great show guys. Thanks to Tom and to Clive for a thoroughly engaging piece of content.
I just love Clive, he always brings balance to a conversation. None of the impulsive driven reactionary responses we see with a lot of people, including myself sometimes.
I like the soothing morning voice of Clive
I can listen to Clive speak everyday of the year. His views and analysis of the club and the manager are always spot and insightful. Great show as always TC.
Great show today! Was a bit strange that Tom was so quiet🤣
Clive was right about Patino, but Clive could you address that Ode is missing the build up influence which was his key ability last season. he seems to be playing too close to the striker (somewhat like a Second Striker) will his influence improve if h returns to the 8 role rather than being a 10?
Great job Tom.
Eddie is our flawed genius, not the striker that will take us to new heights but can be stellar on his day against not so great opposition.
I wonder if Odegaard carrying an injury that is impacting his movement is also a reason he started to take more shots. It's like his injury is hindering him beating the man and picking the lock so he's gambling on cracking off a shot
Good Morning Gooners!!
Morning Tom and Clive hope all is well
Absolutely love Clive!! Tom, you've been grinding so hard for so long. Take a nap!
Looking forward to this discussion. I'm watching Boniface videos on YT while we wait and he looks a great prospect. Along with him and Sesko, I think we should also be looking at Šeško and Ekitike, along with Ferguson.
This was a fantastic watch thank you! Hope you get to see Win today 🐶
Great show lads
Great show, appreciate you putting something on for us!
I think the comparisons with Eddie aren't just against current prem backups, they are also against players of the past who played that position in the squad for our club. The likes of Kanu, Eduardo, Adebayor and Van Persie have been backups, the later 2 becoming the mains eventually, but do we see Eddie as having the potential to become the main? Do we even see Jesus as having that quality based on his inconsistent finishing and injury record? When playing a big club you will always be compared to the players of the past, only time will tell whether he is of the level required
Hi Tom, hope you're doing good, hope you're doing well! Unfortunately never been able to catch many live shows due to teacher life, but always make sure to catch up and listen on Spotify on my commute. Love the content and it's clear just how brilliant the community you've built is. Listened to yesterday's 8am and heard what you said about comments on videos and it made me want to drop a message to say how great the channel is thanks to your work. Keep it coming and as always, up the Arsenal! Cheers, Ollie.
Thanks Ollie that’s really kind of you! Means a lot!
What a way to start the day and end the month 😊
Thanks guys!!!
Happy Tuesday! 😁
Well, well, well! Tom and the more ‘theatrical’ Clive.
Good morning to everyone
I love GoonerTalk always a great listen you put on a great show Tom. I must admit out of all tge guests Clive is top Draw great views and well put out. Not like me keep up the good work. UTA
Good morning
Karim Adeyemi would be perfect as the winger/striker option. If not, Johan Bakayoko is really exciting as well.
As to a larger squad, when my non-football enthused friends see our game schedule, their gast is flabbered!!!
Ello
Will Clive reply to this 2 weeks later? Hmmm
If they were going to do a Ballon D'or for football pundits - Clive probably wouldn't win it because he is an Arsenal man and you can be the absolute best and still not win the Ballon D'or as we saw with Henry in 03 and 04. But he should win it.
................I'm definitely still not bitter about Henry missing out 20 years ago.
Kiwior hasn’t received the credit he deserves, now that we mention him.
Recorded show ☹️
And let’s face it, players have good days and bad just like the rest of us.
Elye Wahi has a pretty questionable incident in his past id rather not go near him to be honest
Send Havertz to Bundesliga on loan in the spring to get his confidence back.
I'm still confused as to why he was bought in the first place
