I have this night vision. Incredible for the price point. I do use it on second focal plane scopes as well as first. As long as it has adjustable parallax I've been able to get a clear image

With second fp just adjust your focus mine on my second fp scope is about 7 half turns even on my ffp i have to spine it about 6 from using it as a hand held
Great review but you are not understanding FFP and 2nd FP. FP has nothing to do with parallax adjustment. I have tons of 2nd focal plane with side parallax adjustment. It can be used with 2nd focal plane, you just have to have parallax adjustment.

How well will it work on a fixed 10x swfa scope.
I haven't tried it on a fixed power scope. Is the SWFA a first or second focal plane? If it is a first focal plane, it will work great. If it is a second focal plane, you will have to play with the night vision optic some to get it in focus for different distances.
Whats the useful range without an illuminator behind a 6X?
You have to use the built in illuminator unless it is full moon bright outside. With the built in illuminator behind a 6x, 300-350 yards.

They aren't using industry standard USB-C. That's a non-starter for me.
It uses the micro usb which until recently was the standard. Hopefully they will upgrade to the USB-C on the newer models.
@@RobbieWheaton yeah true but I simply won't buy something new that uses micro USB anymore. I'll return it for that reason alone if it wasn't obvious when I bought something. No responsible engineer should be using micro after about 2017 when 3.2 came out IMHO.
@@kamisamazthats stupid when you look st the battery type. Your mentality is very ingorant... not all batteries require a full output charger usb. Micro usb is more efficient for smaller devices. To say you will never buy anything with a micro usb... go ahead and do that then bud lol

There's a reason the industry standard is migrating to USBC and it's not necessarily related to charge efficiency. The reason is durability and longevity, but yeah you go ahead and buy those shity micro USB pieces for critical components that you're going to be depending on to not fail when you need it in the future. I'm just an ignorant-ass idiot so no need to listen to me or the trends of the industry. Pick the cheapest ass Chinese piece of shit you can possibly find and that's probably going to do you just fine.

Do you actually need a FFP scope to use this? I was unaware of that, you have been the first review that has mentioned that.
The scope can work on a SFP scope but the image will only be clear at the set parallax distance.
