Romanian trains at Bucharest Gara De Nord

An hour spent at Bucharest main station revealed quite a variety of locos, rolling stock and liveries. The electric locos are basically variants of one type, distinguished by their different paint jobs - red ones looking like Coke Cans with their white flash. Romania has quite a lot of second hand rolling stock, mainly ex-SNCF commuter units, and an ex-SNCF freight loco is seen still bearing the FRET branding alongside its new Romanian numbers. A couple of newish Siemens Desiro units were seen, together with coaching stock in several colours. Strangely photography is not permitted on the station concourse but OK out on the platforms.

I have seen other videos on Romania's railways, and this is so interesting to watch here! So, at 4:23, I nearly fell of my seat, seeing that Fret SNCF, amazingly with a set of those iconic ex SNCF (Rames Réversibles Régionales RRR, or there abouts?). They should be in push-pull operation, and with what looks like the correct loco too. But, alas, there might be issues, preventing that from taking place? ;D

Those ex-SNCF trains are not operated by CFR, the state owned railway company. Those are used by Regiotrans, a private company. The CFR locos are not all the same type, although they have the same looks. They have different engines, going up to 5100kW. The CFR cars are all brand new, clean and air conditioned. Some of them have wifi too.
