How can i use this block in vertical position with L bracket?

just purchased the arca type. nice product. just a pity, like iqwire cableblock, you didn't use a handle on screw to avoid screwdriver or coin.
There are two sides, tethertool and tetherblock texts and screw slot compensates for both. is there an orientation preference ("lens" side) ?

Thanks for the comment. We certainly appreciate the feedback.
The TetherBlock can be mounted in either direction, there is no side that is intended to face the lens. We would recommend using the orientation that allows the cable the straightest path from the USB port into the TetherBlock, though it will also depend on the cable thickness and which channel you use. In any case, you should use the orientation that fits your particular camera body best.
