Button locks are slowly but surely becoming my favorite locking mechanism
"Whatever that body of water is that the Loch Ness Monster comes out of."
Top 10 Metal Complex quotes ever 😂😂
I love all these new button locks. Thanks MC
You speak so well of Kubey knives, I want to get one just for the heck of it.
Love the blade shape. Just wish it was bigger.
Love all your uploads MC. Loch Ness is the water Nessie is in lol
Thanks for sharing bud! Kubey does have great quality if nothing else
This is one of those, when it goes on sale 50% off you grab one without regrets, Knives. Actually that's pretty much like all Kubeys
No ragrets
Somebody’s first today , hi MC ! Cool looking knife
Love mine in digicam
Lolbjesus. If thats what you'd say for "liking" it, I'd be scared of how it would go you despise it!. I may get this if it has some cooling scales etc. Good review as usual
Hi MC I love button locks but I'm concerned about the longevity of them vs other locking mechanisms like frame/liner and even crossbar. My main thoughts are will the spring break or lose tension over many years/flips and how long will the lockup contact points be solid over time? Obviously with frames and liners they will go to 100% over time, and crossbar you'll have to change the omega springs, but what do you think about this button mechanism in a lot of chinese locks over time vs say protech way of doing it. Thanks MC 👍
It's very easy to replace a coil spring.. they will last a very long time, much longer than an omega spring. The manix 2 uses a coil spring for the ball bearing lock, and I've been flipping mine for years...the only springs I have broken are omega springs on crossbar locks
@@Lyrics_manzanita good to know as I have a manix as well. I guess the next thing I'd be worried about is the button itself wearing down as it locks up with the tang, I could see constant fidgeting possibly wearing them down so that it no longer has enough contact to lock up anymore, but idk I guess depends on the material being used for the button cylinder
@@WorldsEliteDeatHaze actually the lock up gets stronger as the tang/lock face and plunge lock will wear into the tang farther. Making the lock up stronger... In theory.
I own many button locks and I have flipped some of them(kizer hic-cup) thousands of times, to the point my wife is threatening me with divorce if she hears the clicks anymore, and I have had zero issues with the lock so far, time will ultimately tell of course but I am confident that they will last a long long time. And I have upgraded the Coil Spring in my Kizer Begleiter XL as well to make the button stronger to stop the blade from popping back open when closing and it is still buttery smooth.
I believe the Loch Ness monster came from Loch Ness lake lol
The loch ness monster comes out of loch ness 😂😂😂
It's Aus10steel.
Love Kubey knives, Civivi, and sencut are getting expensive for what they are .... despite sencut being the budget brand ... anyhoo, love Kubey, but that's a bit fugley 😂
link does not work for this item
Probably because it's sold out. That's what happens when lots of people are all using the same link
You weigh the knife prior to guessing to make yourself look coOol, dontcha? 😁
I feel like MC is a lefty sleeper agent......
JK I love the lefty love.
Just FYI the Loch Ness Monster comes out of Loch Ness. Hence the name lol
Lol I am a poor dumb idiot 😅
@@metal_complex haha me too sometimes. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us.
FYI. The body of water where the Loch Ness Monster has been seen is “Loch Ness.” If anyone should ask the color of George Washington’s White Horse. It’s “white.” 😂
😅
