I feel like this actually fits with his walking animation in a sense.
Lumbering. Singularity's mismatched legs make him have to (for humans) exert different levels of force to push himself up and over each step. And he is very loud when moving, so this theme definitely sounds like a huge machine awkwardly, yet effectively stomping after you, utterly dead set on its target and never giving up for a second.

We need more actually bangers on chase music, tension is good but chase music that makes you feel like you are not the victim but instead you are a thing that can fight against the killer for your life in loops, thats where we are talkin of really awesome chase music, IMO inspires me more in chases (like nemesis, wesker or oni)

The chase music is fantastic, but I feel like the near and chase themes should have a bit more of a robot feel to them. Like instead of just a drumming sound, it could sound a bit more like a laser or something to that effect. Also, some extra sounds in those two would definitely make it a lot more adrenaline-inducing and even more terrifying. Love the rhythm change in the chase theme too; it makes it sound like you've just figured out what exactly you're being chased by: an unrelenting machine that will always be smarter than you and always a step ahead. Love it

I'm usually not the one to say the typical "this is so much better than DBD's version!!1", but like...this is so much better than DBD's version! It'd be MILES cooler to hear this during chase, rather than the one in-game that sounds like a malfunctioning trash compactor!

Great job on that! Really like the chase and menu, specially the 16 and 8 meter parts, what plugins you used mostly?
Thank you! I use a wide variety of different plugins and samples to create these. For this one it was mostly wavetable synths and sampled percussion!

Interesting, it's less frantic but more determined than the official one.
I've listened to it over and over again, yet nothing about how the chase sounds seems to relate specifically to the Singularity besides being an intense killer. This could realistically go on many of the chase-centric killers.
The droning synth adds to the sci-fi and could even be interpreted as the rage-filled screams of a machine, and the metal hammering does also give a vague sense of machinery or industry, but I don't feel like it's mechanical enough to justify being a theme for this guy alone.
Hux has an undeniable, unending contempt for anything lower than he considers himself. He's a relentless machine fused with flesh and given a God complex. The relentless part is there, but that's all I'm getting.
Still, it's good work.

For the singularity I went more down the route of a unidentified otherworldly robot-monster. That will not be stopped by anything. The terror radius I focused on intense sci-fi styled sounds in 4/4 time then for the chase I switched to triplets the idea of the switch almost represents the realisation of what this horror amalgamation is.
In terms of elements that link to the singularity initially I used alarms, but thought that was a bit too generic so I scrapped that. I instead I turned to rising/mechanical sounds. you may notice in layer 3 I used Shepard tones which gives the effect of a constant rise in pitch. Every sound/instrument chosen was done with the idea of a killer robot/monster in mind.
I hope that gives more of an insight into my thought process!

This is incredible, makes him an unstoppable killing machine. Did you have inspiration from action or Sci fi movies?
This project was a while ago so I don’t remember any particular inspiration I remember being very inspired just from the idea of AI turning against humanity. Mix that with a monstrous evil robot that wants to wipe out all of humanity.
But yeah I mainly focused on the relentless unstoppable nature of the singularity for the chase

The composer for the track you mentioned most likely used the same sample library that I have used here.
