That "Wheels on Meals" fight with Jackie Chan should be in the Hall of Fame!
You beat me to it ! what an amazing fight
Benny has a youtube channel as well.✌
I really enjoyed wheels on meals. But dragons forever is my favorite martial arts movie of all time. Yuen biao shined more in that one.
the dragons forever fight between jackie chan and benny the jet was as if it was out from the comic book. I like that fight over the wheels on meal a bit more due to the fight being of a more serious tone.
probably the best fight on film
I love how Scot call him "sensei", because he is, this man has won all the respect!
You can tell that he lives a full and happy life. Benny doesn't seem to be someone who is angry or mad or jealous of others. His smile and laughter are genuine and he looks radiant. There is no faking. We need more people like him for this world to be a better place. There are just too many angry people in the world right now.
Scott is a very elegant guy. He shows respect to everyone he interviewed. He looked pretty badass in IP man 4.
He’s the real good guy in IP 4.
A class act , very cool dude. Even showed Steven Seagal some proper respect about his accomplishments considering all the rumours about him
@@shanecochran2491 Steven can fight pretty well he is just cocky and overexagerates how well he can fight... he is nothing special really but he was no slouch as a young man either
Thank you Scott for giving these guys flowers while they still here and allowing us to hear their experiences! Much respect.
That is a beautiful comment. I really appreciate Scott for bringing the memories back for these priceless legends and letting them know on our behalf, how much they are appreciated and how much they've shaped our childhood and youth. I hope Scott reads your comment and continues to do this great work. Bringing joy not only to these people who laid the groundwork, but to us fans as well. I really like that Scott Adkins is not waiting for them to pass to give them the tribute that they deserve. I also hope all his guests know that we love them and are grateful for them being a part of our lives.
Check out the Bruce Willow Podcast. I think you'd appreciate it.

Nice words sham.😎
@@shammaideen6628 Your words is so heart warming. I wish you all the best in life. And stay safe. :)
Great comment 👍
Scott needs to put together a Kung Fu Expendables with all the old school fighters
hahah i just said that and i see this right after I commented!! But yesss it needs to happen! The more mentioned, the most likely he can read this!
How bout old school 80-90s fighters vs these UFC fighters
@shu shin ho well i did say that they are doing the raid remake for usa so scott and a few others could be in it.
Bingo 👍👌👌
Probably no question that Bolo Yeung has to be the mean guy in that movie 😁
Benny the Jet. The man with the deadliest spinning back kicks in the ring!
Definitely, his back kicks could stop a train .
His fight scene with Jackie Chan in Wheels on Meals was the best ever!
The Jet is in the house! This dude is legit.
I could listen to Sensei Benny for hours! A very interesting and inspirational man!
He deserved an accolage for sure Siasti keep it comin'
Waiting for legend Jackie Chan himself to come to your show
Jackie Chan is extremely rich. Hard to meet him.
he still accepts many interviews. just try it
Scott Adkins has become the Joe Rogan of the martial arts world.
Isn't Joe rogan the Joe rogan of the martial arts world?
Hey that's the greatest fight scene ever filmed but have you ever tried DMT?
@@millat_ibraheem just mma
That’s a great sentence
joe rogan sucks.
MR ADKINS ...PLEASE DONT FORGET THE LEGENDARY BILLY BLANKS
Totally!
Yes, I met him a long time ago and he's a quiet, polite and private person. Then he goes out and does Tae Bo, which helped sooo many people. 😊
Benny never got the recognition he deserves after his performances in Dragons Forever and Wheels on Meals, he had leading man potential with this incredible skills, I feel like he's wasted just playing henchmen in so many things. It's awesome that you're getting these undersung heroes like Mark Davascos and the Jet, some of your guests really deserved to be bigger than they were/are. I'd love to see Yuen Biao or Sammo on one of these :) You could ask Sammo who won when he and Bruce Lee went off for a match xD
✊🏼🤜🏼 *Ding ✊🏼🤜🏼 *Ding
He is never wasted. 27 years of holding world champion of kick boxing is enough to make the world admire. It just...he chose his life career in the ring, not in the movie
Unfortunately Sammo and Yuen Biao's English isn't too great . They'd need translators.
Dacascos in Drive was phenomenal
I agree but Hollywood would find it hard placing a small statured intense Mexican man like Benny in a leading man role. Who’s making those kind of pictures? Nobody is. It’s not prejudice it’s just the nature of the beast in Hollywood
This will be a great episode. Benny is fun and emergetic guy.
A great episode would be a fight with you and Goku XD
@@try_wk4687 ur stupid 🤣
... But I want to see that
Benny the Jet is probably the most charismatic and positive person out there, and with no arrogance either 🙏
Absolutely "wheels on meals" fight scenes between Jacky and Benny are The Best in Whole Movie History.
One of the best seminars I have ever attended was with Sensei Urquidez at Alameda Marta Arts in California. His intensity is still there and his patience with students, young and old, is a blessing for anyone who ever attends his seminars. He’ a brilliant fighter, inspirational human being, and an incredible teacher. Thank you Mr. Adkins for this episode.
Pretty awesome how Benny Urquidez fought Jackie Chan in Wheels on Meals and Dragons Forever then trained John Cusack who himself would fight Jackie in Dragon Blade.
GPB IS A HIDDEN GEM
Wow ... Will look for that movie!
Urquidez and Cusack fought in Grosse Point Blank as well.
edit: ok, I'm redundant.
benny & bruce lee two of my favourite martial artists of all time
@@celiashen5490 HA HA !!! NO YER NOT !!! YER JUST GETTING INVOLVED KID !!!
Benny Urquidez ! Real pioneer of full contact kickboxing. Legend ! Real Fighter !
Growing up I was a big Jackie Chan fan, back then I didn't know Benny's name or his background, but his fight sequences with Jackie Chan were mind-blowing
All this time later, in this age of internet, I found more about him....just an absolute legend....what a golden age it was for action stars
Scott, these are the best series showcasing martial arts legends! Thank you for your work!
Benny and Jackie's Wheals On Meals fight is one of the best fight scenes ever! I like how it feels half like a crazy choreographed fight and half like a real life fight
I love Sensei Benny. He is absolutely the real thing. That killer, menacing look on MoW...scary!
Scott always delivers. Blessings brother.
I agree. Glad I ran into this CZcams channel. It’s my favorite. Every single actor, while may not be well known to a lot of younger people nowadays, were actors I’ve idolized as a kid.
Facts
TERRANCE OUT
Thank u Scott for connecting us with the legends of our childhood, legends we grew up watching and who made us dream and love martial arts.much respect man.
Benny is right about Jackie being a thinker. In his stuntmen tutorial video, Jackie shows the viewers that he caries lots of ideas on paper in his wallet. He finds things that interest him and cuts them out of magazines and newspapers and folds them up, always keeping them on-hand in case he needed to pull something out. Jackie doesn't enjoy doing the same thing over and over in every movie. In fact, he has to come up with new techniques and stunts just to keep his mind from deteriorating.
that or jackie knows audiences want new. not the same old stuff. movies is like the arts. you always have to have something new just to stand out. jackie learned this in his early days during the bruce lee era when bruceloitation was thing.
@@cosmeticscameo8277 so true. He must find new ideas, so he collect all the things that can bring him new ideas that he can use later in his films. Otherwise the ideas will run out. I think every true artis do that also.
on the previous episode I requested for Benny "The Jet" next.. and u made it happen .. Thank U Scott Sir☺
I never ever forgot the fight scene between him and jackie sir
In wheels on meals movie 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wheel on meals and Dragon forever!👍✨✨
Jean Claude Vandam,Jackie Chan,Jet li
They are great legends of martial arts I would like to see them in The Art of Action!!!
All the time Benny was speaking, I was looking at his knuckles OMG. Those are tempered and time-tried. My deepest respects to him and you Scott for making this one happen. Love from India... ♥
Benny's the man! New wish list for Scott to interview next: Wesley Snipes, Joe Talsim, Robin Shou, Iko Uwais, Ernie Reys Jr. 🙏🏾
And Steven Seagal.
Definitely wesley snipes
Ernie Reys Jr.
Wow you actually got Benny! And two of these in one week? We're spoiled.
Gary Daniels is next!!
Watching Benny in his element brought a smile to my face throughout this video. Thank you Scott for giving legends like Benny some form of recognition for the current generation.
This was great. I wish he got more calls from Sammo Hung/Jackie Chan or Yuen Biao between Wheels On Meals and Dragons Forever and after. Imagine the fight scenes we could have gotten if they worked together more often. And he was still amazing in Grosse Pointe Blank at an older age in the 90s. It feels like he had so much more to give to film fights in the 80s and 90s, and he certainly would have brought out the best choreography with whomever he was fighting judging by this interview. Awesome talent!
Benny is the only person in the existence of man who can interrupt Chuck Norris when he dreams and doesn't have to apologize.
Dam Benny a real fighter still love his wheels on meals fight still one of the best till this day 2023, seriously why are they old fights better than most today
Benny the jet, what a great fighter. He definitely helped jacky chan level up, and he was talented enough to level up. Just great work from these guys.
The real kick boxer and legend Benny 'The Jet'...♥️
Benny's a great storyteller, quick to recollect and smooth on his delivery.
I didn't know I could have respected Benny and Jackie's fight scenes together more, but here I am doing so. The fact that Jackie wanted to test himself against Benny and could keep up with him says a lot about Jackie's heart and athletic and fighting ability. A lot of actors talk the talk but Jackie actually wanting to fight Benny to test himself is awesome.
Benny teaching Patrick using the rhythm of the music is the sign of a good teacher, adapting for the student.
John Cusack learning under Don Wilson and Benny, what a lineage!
Benny is so excited when he explained about Jackie chan in all his interviews.. ..heroes of 90s..wishes for Benny :)
The fight between Jackie and Benni is one of the fight scenes I love the most
Those two fights Benny did with Jackie Chan in Wheels On Meals & Dragons Forever are two of the best fights in Hong Kong movie cinema, I grew up watching 80's action flicks & this interview brought back plenty of nostalgic memories.
Benny "The Jet" is 2 of my top 10 movie fight scenes ever. Here's my list in no particular order:
1. Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris (Way of the Dragon)
2. Drunken Master 2 (Jackie Chan vs. Ken Lo)
3. Fist of Legend (Jet Li vs Billy Chow)
4. Wheels on Meals (Jackie Chan vs. Benny "the Jet")
5. Ip Man 2 (Donnie Yen vs. English boxer)
6. SPL Killzone (Donnie Yen vs. Sammo Hung)
7. Dragons Forever (Jackie Chan vs Benny "the Jet")
8. Ip Man (Donnie Yen vs. 10 Karate Black Belts)
9. Police Story (Jackie Chan ending Mall Fight)
10. Police Story 2 (Jackie Chan vs 3 guys at the end)
I know I'm forgetting some other ones. More good recommended fight scenes to follow.
thanks for the list buddy. i have watched some of them but not all. i will check them out.
Solid list! I’d add Scott Adkins and Marko darkur from Undisputed 3. Also.... from Fist of legend.... that jet li fight with his girlfriends uncle.
Te raid, the raid 2 and The night comes for us
Iko uwais or Scott adkins fight scene is badass
Solid list! This is off the top of my head, in no particular order (except #1), and in no way permanent - I'm probably forgetting another dozen great fights.
1. of course - Jackie vs Benny in "Wheels on Meals" (1985)
2. Jackie vs Dick Wei in "Heart of the Dragon" (1985)
3. Jet Li vs Chin Siu Ho in "Fist of Legend" (1994)
4.Wu Jing vs Xing Yu in "Fatal Contact" (2006)
5. Scott Adkins vs Lateef Crowder in "Undisputed 3 (2010)

9. Yuen Biao vs Frankie Chan in "Prodigal Son" (1981)
10. Jackie Chan vs Bradley Allan in "Gorgeous" (1999)
Awesome list!
Greatest fight scene ever recorded period!
Benny Urquidez is A BIG LEGEND!!!
Dude, even as big of Star as you are, you give the biggest respect to your elders. Props man. And the interview was another winner
Benny is a living legend , such a highlight reel of fights
Watching the Jet in the ring was a thing of beauty
Great Man!Benny The Jet...thanks for ALL u have done,in the fighting Arts!GOD Bless you!🙏
The candle kick was awesome! Love these interviews
Scott fan boys so hard with his guests and it's amazing to see
I love when Scott interviews someone he really admires. He lights up like a 10-year-old talking to Batman. Great stuff. 👍
Love that he calls him Sensai and rightly so. Respect. Scott Adkins is a gentleman's gentleman
This interview is gold. It's amazing how many long conversations Scott has managed to put together so quickly. And the channel is blowing up as a result - 10K new subscribers in a week! Great work.
Wow. He saw Bruce lee for real.
Another gift from You, Mr. Adkins. Thank You, sir.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I love Benny so much!
Those two fight scenes are awesome. Some of Jackie’s best. Makes me wish Benny did more Hong Kong films but then again. Maybe because he did a few they stand out even more.
Mate, your channel is by far the most informative series of martial arts highlighting the greats to ever grace both the ring and film. Thank you very much for your effort and hard work in making this series happen.
Вааууу! 😍 Бенни и Скотт! 😍 Просто огонь 🔥
I was floored when I first saw Meals on Wheels. Before Jackie Chan retires, he MUST have one last fight with Benny. Does Urquidez still train?
Don't think so?
He's retired- training upcoming legends.
He still looks fit.
He does.
Jackie Chan is now into the CCP politics.
I don't think he comes down now
Benny would destroy Jackie Chan. 😆
Scott, you’re knocking it out of the park with these! Every episode has been fantastic! I’m even struggling to think of suggestions for guests since you’ve already gotten so many of my top picks. Maybe: Jeff Speakman, Ray Park, Jeff Imada, Yuen Biao, Phillip Rhee.
Ray Park...good choice.
Yuen Biao may have an issue with Spoken English.
Luke Goss too. He was awesome in blade 2 and hellboy 2
Suggesting guests appears a bit redundant. So far Scott is going by a very obvious list. He's contacting good friends/colleagues he worked with and martial arts stars he admired while growing up. I wouldn't expect him to require help thinking of more.
Benny embodies the spirit of fighting. You can see how fulfilled he is in life! The smile says it all.
Benny the jet!!! With that lethal spinning back kick! Love this guy man, he’s such a legend
Huuuuge respect for this legendary sensei✌👍👍👍👍👍✌
Ok, Now you're just spoiling us. Lol. You sir, have that "something" that we've all been waiting for. Can't begin to express my appreciation for this channel. Thank you.
Scott's been getting better and better interviews. Hes already an excellent Martial artist, actor...now he's just spoiling us indeed lol
Amazing!!! The Jet is 100% legit. Some of the most memorable fighting scenes were made by this titan.
Love you scott
Benny and Scott - greetings from Poland! You both rock!
SOMEONE: Scott and Benny are having a video conversation
ME: Get the beers!!!!
When a guy has such an incredible training background in martial arts that there isn't enough time to go over it all .. 😶
What a guy. Thank you for this. How humble Benny is, not wanting to take sole credit for any success but his own. A great man.
Mr Adkins, this series is a treasure. Thank you. Benny ”The Jet” Urquidez is a legend in martial arts and action cinema.
One of Jackie Chan’s best fight scenes ever was actually one he directed himself, the end fight scene in Legend of the Drunken Master (Drunken Master 2).
not only the best fight of Jackie Chan, but the entire world cinema
This absolutely warms my heart! ❤️❤️❤️ Scott Adkins YOU are my modern era MA hero and seeing you give my childhood heroes (legends) this mainstream love is the best gift EVER from a martial artist and old ass fan boy perspective! Thank you yet again for this amazing interview. If you never threw a kick in your life, representing yourself, martial arts and the respect you display in this manner would earn my life long admiration. Thank you sir!
Interview with old martial arts is great. We all remember them. No one has done this before you. Congratulations to you.
a real fighter , a real spirit of fighting , look some of his fights , amazing talent .
Benny the Jet!!
Benny the great Urquidez 😁😁😁
2 legends on interview. Benny was an amazing fighter and when someone like Scott gives respect this is the highest honour.
Maybe they do a movie together.
How good is Scott Adkins for doing this? Benny the Jet??? Legends! Absolute legends!
GREAT INTERVIEW WITH A LEGEND!!!
Love to see ernie reyes sr or jr been an amazing series so far thank you scott
Sensei Benny is awesome. Some of his fights in the ring are legendary. He is truly the real deal.
Benny Urquidez is one of the greatest martial artists of all time. A living legend.
Oh my god, a video with The Jet. My idol. Thank you, Scott, for including this national treasure.
Love Benny behind the scenes commentary!! Benny still has a lot of energy!! Awesome series Scott!!
this is so great!!! I had downloaded the Wheels on Meals climax fight scene on all my devices and have watched it over and over again. Wonderful to get real insights from Benny Urquidez (the Jet) on it.
Mad Respect for Benny, Jackie and Scott _/\_
So much youthful, sparkling energy!
I don't think I''ll never not be impressed when I watch the Jackie vs Bennie fight in Wheels on Meals. Easily top 3 fights for me. This interview also shows how crazy Jackie is lmao. Letting a pro fighter, much less a champion pro fighter hit him is nuts lol.
Can't wait to watch. Always love to hear Benny speak, true legend, thank you Scott!!
Didn't know that about Road House, makes it even better!!
this is beautiful. and this is how shit-talking is supposed to go - you can tell Benny is still competitive 35 years later, but he's also got so much love and respect for Jackie's craft too! and totes agreed with Scott on Jackie's best fights being directed by Sammo - which also made that endfight of Drunken Master 2 that much more of a miracle - like how did Jackie pull that outta himself!
Thank you Scott Adkins!.. Thank you for respecting the master.. They are unforgettable treasure for us..
I'm thinking Brad Allen would be a fascinating one to get on here too. From stepping in to do the shot the guest action star couldn't, to being the first Western guy in the SGB, to getting an actual credited role, to becoming SGB Team Leader.
Great idea bro..Brad Allen is amazing..
If only that were possible. It can no longer happen because he died August 7 2021.
Brad is deceased
This was an awesome episode. It would be great if one of the Triforce could be on the show (Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Donnie Yen). Benny is such a talent
We're still requesting. I heard jackie is willing, but he can't seem to find d time to do it. He's so busy.
For a child of 80's action and martial arts, I can't tell you how much I love this series.
Suggestions for future episodes: Yuen Biao, Sammo, JACKIE CHAN (of course), Bolo Yeung, JCVD, Michael Dudikoff, Al Leong, JET LI, Michelle yeoh, John Woo, BIlly Blanks, Ron van Clief. Who am I forgetting?
David Bradley, Michael Dudikoff, Chuck Norris.
Donnie yen
@@adnansaqib0417 Yeah, for sure. That would be awesome!
Sensei Benny➡ Black belt hall of fame. True champion!
2 great martial artists in one week, this one is going to be great as well.
