    Just get a stick , poke a hole, drop in the seed.

    • @CIFYou
      @CIFYou  Před 11 měsíci +1

      That's the traditional way, you need to sow a thousand holes, and you'll have to bend your back a thousand times. Thank you .

    I wonder if you could have cut the tubing on a diagonal instead of straight across. That would give a single point on the end as opposed the the chisel edge. Would have been a bit more tricky to fabricate the hinge, I'm sure.

      Excellent feedback! With my design, I actually faced a few issues when encountering small rocks. Your opinion might help overcome that. thanks

      @@CIFYou I have split some 4 inch (100 mm) tubing with a torch and rotated one piece 180° and welded back together. This gave me a long, pointed spike I mounted on a tractor for lifting hay bales.

      @channelview8854 If I follow your idea, I will use a round tube of 27mm to create a long funnel shape, then split it in half to easily attach the hinge. I wish I had come up with this sooner. Thank you.

      @@CIFYou best of luck. I look forward to seeing how you develop this.

      I think I will have a more perfect version for this tool. It won't require dropping each seed individually; instead, it will automatically release them.
