I can beat the 690 on pull of easy! And can keep up with my mates 690 round the twists and turns. It's the rider not the bike. Everyone thinks if you get a bigger bike you can go faster, not the case. You need to know how to handle what's in between your legs and work on riding it to its full potential
I used too own one with leo vince dual pipes, I pulled the silencers so it was extra loud. I will own one some day again, only bike to get. Do you wear ear plugs everytime you ride?? I couldn't ride without them especially with the dirt bike style supermoto helmet lol.
Where did you get the "passenger pegs"? I will buy a 2019 KTM 690 SMC R when available. The images available show no passenger pegs. Have you ridden "2-up" for a bit or in pinch?
This bike is sooooo gorgeous. I had a 2005 625 SMC - nice bike - but this is light years beyond it. So glad this model is still being made.

It's a good bike but begin slowly. I have an 690 smcr 2016 and I am 18. It makes a lot of fun and is not hard to drive.
