I respect anybody who thinks Villa is better, but when you look at the numbers, gotta consider Raul didn't play as a pure striker, he was always behind Ronaldo, Morientes, Higuain, Ruud, etc... yet scored as many as those.

I mean statistics aren't everything. If we look at it from a figurative setting Torres won Spain World Cup and Euro Cup. Not to mention he was an absolute game changer for Liverpool when he started playing for them. Won golden boot and was incredibly good on the ball. Villa is just known for playing for Barcelona which isn't necessarily the most loved club. But I'll admit it he was a good striker and very accurate in his shots. Scored many goals. Villa is a bit odd seems he's got temper issues or something judging his weird face.
Raul was great for Real Madrid back in the day. But as an icon status I think Torres takes the cake. He was like if Ronaldo didn't have an ego, that talented, skillful and fast in the forward line. Legendary individual. Players like Suarez or even Haaland only think about themselves and how many goals they can score. Bit selfish and not real football. Torres reminded of someone who could be a movie star he is very inspirational and a good decent noble person in real life.
For sure, if we talk about personnalities. Torres is the man ! So clutch in big games also !
I agree except for the World Cup. Villa literally scored 5 of the only 8 goals of Spain in 2010 World Cup and Torres scored none. He only started 4 games out of 7 games.
