These voices are mapped with "special" sounds in addition to the basic instrument sound itself. For a guitar, this includes body hits, slides, fret noises, and the like. These voices are not designed for live performance but rather are for Yamaha's programmers who have made good use of these unique sounds to enhance the realism of the styles.
i was searching for special features of Yamaha PSR 3000 than PSR 2000 & 2100. After saw this clip i stop searching more. Because I saw what I expected from this key board. So what I can say about this is, it is really cool. The one who playing this 'Michel Voncken" is a very talented musician.
To all PSR-3000 users: to play MegaVoice slides @ Distortion Guitar, as Michel played @ 1:11 you need to press Mixing Console, get into "Tune" tab and change Octave parameter from "-1" to "1" corresponding to correct Right part, of course. It's why it's impossible to play MegaVoices in real using simple tapping method: "normal" instrument scale is Octave -2, -1 and occassionally 0, and all effects are put into Ocatve 1 and 2, so you simply can't play sounds and effects at the same time. Unless you play really high :- 0
I have this..I love it. I plug my Strat guitar into the line in(Via my Boss effects box) and program some pre-balanced suitable percussion , bass and instrumental rhythms. The output I connect to my PC and record to disc..then Burn to CD when I'm happy with it.
@SunflowerContest The S700 does not have SuperArticulation! Voices, that are included in the S900! In addition, the S900 has got a coloured screen and a Mic-Input, what isn´t included in the S700!
hello buy a Tyros!!!!!!! I also have choosen between PSR 3000 and Tyros. The 61 keys are much better than on PSR 3000. second reason was for me the design and the big display (the graphic is soo much better, you can see everything very clear). i think the most functions on both keyboards are the same (mega voices etc) but the keys are so much better =) i'm very proud of my Tyros and when i openend this video i thought: what a luck that i decided for Tyros!! greetings manu
Dont know but get the S-700 or S-900 these are the predessecors to the PSR series, difference between the 700 and 900 is the 900 has a color screen and usb recording straight to a USB device if ya wanna put on PC

Hello, Sorry, but you can't use MegaVoice in live. Megavoice is only for midifile and styles. But, you have the "Cool SlideClean" voice. You have just to select it and play, and if you increase the velocity, the voice produce a slide effect :D Have fun :)

Yes...plug your mic into the microphone socket at the back and adjust the gain by using the volume adjuster, which is next to the socket. You can also program effects such as reverb, echo etc.

buy a Tyros!!!!!!! I also have choosen between PSR 3000 and Tyros. The 61 keys are much better than on PSR 3000. second reason was for me the design and the big display (the graphic is soo much better, you can see everything very clear).
i think the most functions on both keyboards are the same (mega voices etc) but the keys are so much better =)
i'm very proud of my Tyros and when i openend this video i thought: what a luck that i decided for Tyros!!

The PSR S-900 has got SA Voices like the Tyros2.
Much better than the PSR S-700. But the PSR S-700 is also very good with that Mega Voice Technology.
