- An abstract painting with very simple tools and techniques. This is also possible with larger formats. Also for you, as a beginner. Again you will get many tips. As in the last video instruction I show you again painting with tools from the household, such as the sponge or the hand washing brush, nail brush as an alternative to the brush. Instead of a spatula or squeegee use a dough scraper (silicone). Mix the colours separately on a baking paper and on the canvas. Adding water makes the paint run and makes it easier to spread it on the canvas. This also produces beautiful effects. So just let it run ;) get inspired, experiment and then go into your painting yourself. The application of paint does not have to be exact and clean. Strokes and lines will give you more ideas. Just draw lines with a brush (wet paint) or pencil (dry). Artistic prank means artist prank. I only realized this through the exchange with you - (in the comments). Das Leben ist manchmal dunkel, verletzt, tut weh...wir wollen das Schwere wegschieben, aber wie im Bild, das Dunkle, Schwere der Vergangenheit gibt der Zukunft, Schönheit, Tiefe, Attraktivität...das Schwere muss positiv integriert werden in das Jetzt, wie im Bild. Es ist nicht so leicht, den Anfang zu wagen. Danke für das anschauliche Beispiel, wie man sich eine solche Fläche "erarbeiten" kann. Die Farben gefallen mir gut und der pinkfarbene Akzent macht das Bild besonders.

I love the free movement of your art, you are so inspiring. I am going to try to make some abstract art instead of pour painting. After viewing many artists & their approach to the canvases, I think I just need to tackle it as I work with it. Have some fun along the way, as you said the canvas speaks to you. I love the use of a nail brush & texture you had gotten from previous video adding salt to a layer of paint. Beautiful.

Ja, liebe Tamera. Genauso ist es. Wenn man das verstanden hat, dann kann man wirklich frei sein. Dann kann man Malen und Kunst schaffen. Es gibt keine Fehler, nur schöne Zufälle und neue Erkenntnisse. Natürlich gibt es auch Hindernisse die ausserhalb der inneren Grenzen liegen - Technische Herausforderungen, Farben die sich schwer verarbeiten lassen, oder Deckvermögen. Aber die Malerei an sich fängt an, wenn der richtige Moment da ist. Innen wie Aussen. Manchmal ist es auch ein art Reifungsprozeß - bis Juni haben Sie genug Zeit sich darauf vorzubereiten. Und dann nicht überfordert an die Malerei zu gehen - mit einem guten Gefühl an die Leinwand zu gehen. Herzliche Grüße und vielen Dank für den netten Austausch. :)

I’m new to painting.. I love your blending techniques.
Can you tell me what I can do when adding paint over another color to keep the paint underneath from lifting? I am letting each layer dry in between, but when I add water with a spray bottle the coat underneath is lifting. Any advice would be very appreciated.

...then the color of the first layer may be too thin. it is not liable because it is diluted. If the first color is opaque, undiluted, then it stays on the canvas....that would at least be an option.

eine frage hab ich zu dem bild, bevor du den grünton aufträgst, sind die anderen farben dann alle trocken?
bei dem ersten Grün ja. sonst bleiben die Farben nicht so rein.
War das zum Schluss Kreide oder Buntstift,?

con una spugna si può stendere la vernice in modo facile e veloce. cattura più colore e lo sprigiona meglio di un pennello. spero che sia tradotto correttamente. inoltre mi piace fare arte con gli strumenti che tutti hanno a casa. soprattutto ora che tutti i negozi sono chiusi qui. auguri.
