This song holds extremely deep meaning for me, as it does for everyone. I forgot about the artists uniting in the video, and it hit me hard. We still have an element of this in music today, but nothing quite like what was captured here. There’s an incredibly beautiful sense of fellowship and unity. People have their opinions about the music styles in general, but the loving family aspect is undeniable, and heartwarming. Brings a smile to my face.

Contemporary music has no soul anymore. The cultural zeitgeist is now the pursuit of hedonism and nothing more and music reflects that. All you'll hear are rap songs about drugs, money, cars, houses and b*tches/h0es. Even 20 years ago rap had soul and included themes of love and loss, but no more. Society is worse off for it.

I loved this song when it first came out. I was a kid then and didn't quite understand the feelings behind it all. I just felt for my favourites seen here in the video. And his family. It didn't fully hit me until I lost someone so close. Ten years of friendship. I considered him my family. And we were going to have a family one day. But cancer took him from me 4 years ago. And instead of celebrating another 4 years together. Instead of holding our children. We celebrate 4 years of missing feelings. What's ifs and what could have been. Questions left without answers. I miss him every day. And do wish he was still in my life. I'm glad his fight is over. I'm glad he isn't struggling anymore. And I'm glad the pain has ended for him. I only wish it could have all ended in a different way. I love you Matthew Isaac Bryan. I always will. And miss you so much. You will always be in my heart.

The morning I had to rush her into hospital is still one of the most painful memories I have (ambulance sirens still scare me to this day). For some reason I stumbled back on this amazing tribute video last night and it brought back the most painful memories of that morning, hearing mum cry out for me as they led me to the relatives room whilst they tended to her. Sadly I never got to tell her I was still there and to say how much I loved her. As much as I hurt right now the lyrics of this song mean a lot more than I thought they did. Snot was a band that was going to need time to demonstrate their influence, yet all these years later I still find myself talking to others about them, usually when we get to tragedies or work our way back/to the 90's. I'm hoping to know more of what this band offered at their shows and to the community - this video alone demonstrates the importance of JLS, and was a very touching tribute.

i have always ALWAYS loved this song!!! on May 16th 2016 my best friend, my soul mate of companionship passed away in a n accident that could have been avoided if his boss followed safety standards. it broke me to the cire i lost apart if me. then this year as i morn over that anniversary still, on may 17th 2018 my husband the ither half if my soul and keeper of my heart passed away on our living roon floor in my arms staring at me. i have nit been able to listen to any music since but today i felt i has to. got close to half way. I will go now cause you dont want me to carry on (i sure dont want to in everyway, but will :'( ..) because no need to me going over May 20th also. thanks for the quick vent

Got the urge to pull out Get Some the other day. My friend and I used to rock that album every time we skated. It was the perfect soundtrack to our lives. The sound meshed well with our Down East attitude back then. I remember scoring an Ozzfest ticket and a ride down to Mass, and then getting deep shit with my mom and not being able to go. I never got another chance to see them. A few years back that same friend passed away, this song and that album brings back so many memories.

I don't know why I keep watching this video every couple of months, it just makes me cry. I don't know if it triggers my depression or my depression was triggered and I am drawn to this song. What kind of life is total misery and nonstop pain physically and mentally, that you are now allowed to get relief because it will hurt those you care about? Do you really want to keep someone you love in your life if you know they are in agony.
