So here's what I think is going on. Alex was the guy that caused the accident by being on his phone. The creature/ kidnapper is the father of the victim that died, and yes Alex is indeed hallucinating all of this due to the guilt and his PTSD. His subcauntious is emerging through his hallucinations! Great vid by the way

Blinking mechanic just for the sake of it is dumb, because the person playing the game will blink in real life anyways.
One of the SCP titles had blinking tied to the game properly, where your character has to blink if his eyes gets too tired and the enemy only moves when you are not looking. That was great.
Not really I think the blinking mechanic was there so the character could ease his anxiety

The second i heard ptsd, imaging stuff, and a 16 year old girl meeting up at the park at night i knew i was in for a psychological thriller

I wrote the same comment here for your playthrough of the first part or demo of this game. I'm avoiding spoilers for this game. I saw a few things that are odd:
1) In the phone booth, the posted paper about PTSD is a little sus. Typically, mental health practices do not see any prospective patient as a walk-in. You get a scheduled first appointment, or intake. You usually don't get an intake right away, it takes time. This is true in the US, but it sounds like Alex is in the UK possibly (he uses the phrase "in hospital" without the word "the" in between).
2) Alex says the psych facility doesn't allow visitors, which is also sus. Both voluntary commitment facilities as well as locked psych facilities usually allow patients to meet with family and friends. You meet inside of the facility and it's supervised, some more so than others. Maybe it's different in other countries?
3) Psych facilities usually don't discharge you at night. Maybe he left against medical advice (AMA) or something.
4) The date of the previous messages to Sam are June 2020. About a year passes before Alex and Sam text again. The current texts they exchange that night that he's released are dated July 5th, 2021 at 21:15 (10:15 p.m. I think). However, the date/time on the home screen of Alex's phone is Thursday, July 30th, 2021 at 21:15. How? (Continued below as a reply)
5) One of the papers posted in the phone booth is about a self-defense class held on July 30th at the Whine Vale police station. One of the news articles or magazines that Alex finds on a park table also mentions the self-defense class. So maybe Alex was just released from the Whine Vale jail? The coincidence of the dates seems weird.
6) The kidnapper tells Alex that Sam stole something of "immeasurable value." A note Alex finds some time afterward says, "The human being is infinite in its value." So Sam might have taken someone's life or is holding a person hostage.
7) In the article or magazine found in the park about Emily, Paul, and their son Jack, a number for contacting the police with clues and tips starts with 040. Idk but maybe that's a country code? If you look up international country codes, it's for Romania. I might be wrong.
8) There are two ads Alex comes across in the park for a Sam's Bakery: one on a news article page, and one posted on or near the phone booth, I forget which. Could be related to Alex's sister.
I swear the "kidnapper" sounds like Alex, as I wrote in the demo video. It was more apparent then. My theory is that Alex is seeing things, hearing things, and it is not necessarily happening in real time. That's why his sister is calling/texting him while apparently already having been kidnapped. He might even be the kidnapper himself
Nice theory !! but what questioning me was when hollow played the demo if im not wrong “sam” texted at the end saying something like “where are you” or i might wrong but i felt like sam is the psych
@@Kurseftw That Sam is the psychopath? That does not add up in my head as the games lore is that Alex ended up in the mental institution, and the gameplay clearly depicts him as not being well.
But maybe she also not right in the head? Another perspective your comment made me think of is, what if Sam is tricking Alex? What if she sent the killer to the power house, or maybe she is the killer? Wanting revenge for the accident? Maybe her face got misfigured?
Finally managed to get a Ps5 and instead of opening it I’m watching hollow lol that’s how entertaining this dude is lol

There's no reason to add a blinking feature. I have 2 eyes in my head that blink when I need to. I don't need a video game blinking for me. That just creates twice the normal amount of blinks.

This game kinda blew it's load right at the beginning when it said Alex had ptsd and was seeing things. The second Alex was identified as an unreliable narrator, everything afterwards was just "Oh, he's hallucinating." It would've been more effective if they waited until the end to tell us.

Who in their right mind would meet their 16-year-old sister at a park in the middle of the night?? Here's a creepy but true story? One day a couple who was dating was hiking in the woods and the guy steps on something it felt soft so before they could even check what it was they heard the bushes rumbling and they got spooked and ran. Years later they turned on the TV and the guy was asking another guy who was a serial killer that was in prison some questions the first question he asked him was have you ever been caught red-handed he said YES!!! I was in the woods and this guy stepped on the girl I just killed that was covered with leaves and got spooked and ran off and they didn't even know she was dead under his foot and that serial killer he was was Ted Bundy!!!!
