The *very* likely reason why Hoyo listened and addressed this immediately is because it had potential legal repercussions. They essentially changed a character, i.e. a product (and not for the better), after players spent money on them/it.
There's nothing illegal about Natlan skin color or disappointing anniversary rewards.

If WuWu was not around all you can get as compensation is 100 primo and probably some interfaiths and some mora. You don't need to understand marketing but when ur next shop starts giving products in a heavy discount you are bound to reduce the price irrespective of what quality your product is. that's competition.

The way I have Neuvilette but never cared about this spin feature and never used it, but I'm still getting these primos xD What the hell is going on
The spin feature didn't just increase his dps by allowing him to hit a lot of enemies, it also increased his range. So yeah, I have used it at the start but stopped since my wrist has issues.
Just feels like a monarch begrudgingly threw a few gold coins at a crowd of peasants to shut them up.

Wuwa is for ppl who want a more fulfilling play style since the combat is player intensive. There’s overlap but not enough to the point where wuwa is gonna steal a large portion of Genshins revenue, especially with how disappointing wuwas launch was.

Sadly they still need to patch Natlan up… some characters are fine (like Kachina since being from a miner tribe she could be of the less melamine group) but some really need their melanine (like Mavuika and Mualani)
