I’m aware other creators have covered this topic recently, these videos take multiple days to complete, any overlap of subject matter is unintentional.
Hope you guys enjoy anyway! & thank you so much for 10K subscribers!
Just a big coinky dink that it seems to happen with pretty much almost every subject and video release huh 😂

@@Italkmadshitlolohh your handle. Gotcha.
Great videos
I think the most likely theory is that Jim somehow survived his zombie bite back in season 1 and wandered down to the border where he found a shovel and dug the entire trench himself.
It was definitely Heath
LMAOOOOO
That man could dig.
@Swell-Films maybe they met up let's fanfic this
Maybe it was Georgie or Virgil. Or one of the many missing characters
Plot twist the episode takes place 35 years before the outbreak and Florida was just like that
Crm says humanity will fail and going extinct but the main characters run into survivors every 10 mins in the new show 💀
Who then promptly die out & most of those episodes occur in the early years.
Just say you don't pay attention to the show
So now we know how the show will end LOL everyone dies and nobody can cooperate for their life in the long run.
New CRM heeds Beales words, digs trenches to stop walkers, sends out research teams for long term study, Bobs your uncle, all tied up with a neat bow.
I like it.
Bow?
That would be the right plot for this episode... But how they told it is unrealistic
That's been my idea for a while.
Beale goes on a global hunt for the survivors that have survived in places thought to be hostile to the living, the US would not be called hostile as survival is on easy mode there.
Each team member has been hand picked for being ruthless and intelligent, Beale is creating an A Team to visit various labs around the world to retreave data and samples in search for the rumoured preventative.
Each member is being blackmailed into going where his troops refuse to go, Beale captured family to get his way.
Each episode would not be the same, some would show the labs and their research including variants while showing off a weekly build to defeat a variant, while other episodes are more relaxed and set in the prison where they're held (in full restraints: straight jacket, hand mits, handcuffs, leg shackles and Hannibal Lector mask) these help flesh out the characters, continue other stories and provide some comedy.
Eventually the data and samples help create a preventative to stop people becoming walkers, even when bitten, while providing a true explanation of the origins and how it was released.
Tales didn't actually retcon Alpha forming the Whisperers. It worked into the timeline pretty well. Alpha and Lydia were banished by Hera. Then they met Beta in 10×2. Then came back and with the help of Beta killed all the Whisperers. Alpha made a mask out of Hera's face and founded the Whisperers we see in the show. She did found them. She simply didn't COME UP with their idea herself. And anyone who could contradict her story of "I made the Whisperers" is dead. So....they did this one pretty smart
This actually makes the most sense I never thought of it like that
As a guy who has moved a lot of dirt in the last 30 years, that is a really weird trench. It's missing a berm, so the dirt was hauled off. It doesn't have an edge road so they only worked on the area where they where removing material. They would also need massive infrastructure to remove water from the cut. And that's not even getting into how they are keeping the sides from sluffing off.
Yes, I know it is dumb to put that much thought into something the writers didn't spend that much thought on.
I dont take tales as anything. I mean there was a episode where people relive their lives over and over. It is just fluff
there is this theory that those women were already zombies and their brains melted together so that's why they were reliving their lives in a loop lol, like a DMT final trip or something while they were actually really dying.
@@rafaelferreira7408Ye I thought everyone knew about that already 🤔
It's a dumb theory because at the end the 2 women succed in their mission to not kill eachother and continue on down the road. It is just a groundhog day interpretation of getting over your shit.
@AdamSG. I didn't and I'm a big TWD fan
Definitely thought they were zombies.
Is it possible that the trench was dug by the CRM to prevent any irradiated walkers from the Texas nuke migrating east? If the dead sector has a vibrant ecosystem, they wouldn’t want any irradiated walkers messing with a fragile ecosystem.
I think canonically, this is the “last” TWD episode. When I first watched it, I remember thinking that this was the farthest episode we’ve seen in the TWD show universe. I took it that, despite all the fighting, the dead truly won in the end with only them, a handful of survivors and bad groups left. Now that we know general Beale’s projection, I think we can see that he was right.
35 years in and they still have working cars? Incredible
There are nowdays operational cars manufactured over a century ago, so...
@@GustaPLACE yeah, but we have a continuous supply of fuel and access to mechanics and spare parts everywhere.
@@DominionSorcerer That's fair
@@GustaPLACE Gasoline, in the tanks underground at the gas station, goes bad in SIX months. After that, you better become a farmer and start making ethanol otherwise you aren't driving anywhere.
@@APackOfHungryGhostsI mean 35 years in it’s extremely likely that someone would be refining fuel again. Realistically after 35 years most of civilization should be back to some degree.
For timeline purposes, it's easy to take the reason for her position being so weak on it as "it's in the future, maybe UP TO 35 years later." Once more writing was done with main line shows, it's probably best to take some years off this and figure that more concrete storytelling has moved it up.
If he was isolated 10 years, let's assume that it's after his buddy died, meaning he had 2 seperate isolations, with the second being of note due to it's length, especially if the couple of years mentioned was a vague sense of time and not literally 2. A total isolation of 10 years basically kills this idea being in the official timeline, so I think this is mandatory.
So here are my thoughts on a proper spot in the timeline based solely on evidence you gave, with the goal being to set it in the future in a way that makes some sense. The doctor and his team work for 2 or 3 years before giving up and drift apart for 3 to 5 more years years. We are now 5 to 8 years in. The other guy comes back and lasts 1 to 2 years, so 6-10 years into the series. He is then isolated for 10 years, putting the timeline at 16-20 years past the start of the series.
If the CRM is reformed at 14 years in, takes 3 years to better organize and get things rolling and ends up with a plan to push the dead back and dig a trench that could leave 3 years to get to that plan completed.
This kind of explains the headhunters who use the dead zone as a close by and well stocked option for heads, be it for research (maybe brains are needed for vaccine studies hence the price onnheads and the removal of the dead weight for transportation) or maybe something random like you suggested.
It would also make sense for the new settlers to arrive at this time since it would likely be around the time their relatively nearby area was fully brought into government territory, and they have decided to remain free. Americans are historically quite independent and those who survived the initial years and claimed land, even land surrounded by zombies wouldn't all be happy to go back to paying taxes and relying on representation by elected officials who may be from their region but not their community.
And it could be that this is a traveling group of malcontents who over their trek picked up more members instead of a whole town who moved away (a fully committed town seems more likely to have stood their ground, whereas a few complainers from here and there would probably lose in local votes to join then leave when they didn't get their way. A few settlements with close ties each have a dozen people who do this and they now have maybe 50 people, especially if they get more on the way who meet them, hear their story, and decide that this is their chance to escape the return of an unwelcome government, further expanding them.
And I can't remember if they were headhunters as well, but if they were playing the dual role of disgruntled settlers and bounty hunters for the same government they wouldn't live under, that still makes sense. A lot of people find it easy to make deals with people that they otherwise dislike or disagree with as long as the money is good. Money that would fund their new settlements since they have chosen to pick a place where they are surrounded by one of the last major pockets of zombies on the east coast and at the same time physically cut off from anyone who would even be crazy enough to come in for trade due to the trench. Basically, a bunch of "don't tread on me" prepper types who got used to the last man on earth mentality they grew accustomed to.
It's likely that I left holes here and there as I stopped following the series years ago due to fatigue of it all, but I still follow along with recaps like yours, and kept up with the comics in the same way. Adding another 2-5 years to my estimate, even if it starts to stretch what was already sounding like some vague hand waiving estimates, would probably make this even easier to accept since 16 years into the apocalypse seems unlikely with where we seem to be at the end of the newest shows. But going much past 25 years seems unlikely as well, especially since the doctor probably wasn't so young at the start that he wouldn't be pushing 70 or 80 if we went much past that, especially if we accepted 35 years once more killing that idea.
I saw recap of world beyond and Elton the smart kid said humans will all be dead in 15 years too
@johncap6495 lots of people make claims that don't come to be either because they were being conservative/pessimistic in their conclusion, changes came along that broke their calculations, or being plain wrong. Remember Eugene led a bunch of people around with claims to be on a mission to save the world and they believed him because he was smart enough to make it seem real. He was still a charlatan even if he turned out to be as smart as he claimed to be.
Also, I tried to edit and clean this up. Tossed up this mess on my lunch hour from a phone. Hopefully, it's clearer now if it wasn't before.
I gotta watch this one again..I'm leading toward it either not being 35 years in..or non-canonical.
Does Amy mention anything about herself as a child?
Or anything that suggests she's familiar with a pre Monument Day world?
An old show. School. Sports.
Because how old do you all think she is approximately?
I'd put her at 35 max.
Even as young as 27.
Suggesting her entire life has been post-apocalyptic if this takes place around 35 years in.
So if there's any old world reference that put her having lived in that world, it would debunk this being 35 years after the virus infected the world.
In the last episode of the world beyond it was shown that the CRM turned Dr. Everett into a walker at their lab
So it can’t be 35 years in?
@B-zk9bt if we BELIEVE, then anything can happen 🧚♂️🐢
@@greenkoopaThat’s so inspiring.
Are you sure it's doctor Everett or Elliott?
Damn you just completely sunk his theory
The Fear the Walking Dead writers room roasting never gets old! I watched Man of Recaps' full series breakdown and I spent the majority of it flabbergasted. I've been reading and writing fanfic for over 15 years and it has never been as bad as whatever the hell FEAR decided to do after the reboot, LMAO. And I'm glad to have skipped out on Tales of The Walking Dead because apparently, it's got the same problems. After listening to this video, I'm gonna unfortunately quote RiceGum and say that the whole series is irrelevant because it flopped due to all of the supension of disbelief being used up with the main shows/spinoffs. Scott Gimple pulled a Scott Cawthon and retconned the whole 35 year thing away and honestly? We're better off for it. Also, someone better check on ol' girl who blabbed. Is she okay?
Most of these tv series are just porn for zombie snuff fetishists, its never about the story. Thats why everyone dies with gruesome closeups
The timeline is already pretty confusing to me and if I’m following Tales of the walking dead, it makes it even worse to figure out😂 the writers were probably intending on this episode being taken 35 years into the outbreak considering how big the “dead sector” was if that’s the case, where the hell is the CRM? No way they would let a whole sector of dead roam around with all those resources. It’s all a can of worms😅 I still enjoyed your explanation and liked the comic ending nod too because that ending took place about 25 years into the future that we got our boy Carl Grimes in😭 but can’t wait until your next explanation video!
been waiting for someone to make a video about this episode (since the finale of towl) good stuff brother
Also I left my comment mid video and you brought up at the end that it might not even be Cannon which I also mentioned. Loving all the content man, keep it up!!
this video is Great, I love the way you explain everything, makes me want to watch this series now, thank you! 🙌💎
I'd say its campfire stories in twd universe.
I think that’s the best way to look at it. Could have elements of truth, but overall is just a “tale”
35 years most of the zombies would have rotten away to bones, functional fortified societies would have come back with laws and civilization would be returning
This has been driving me insane too! Thanks for this!
Theory: Her and her group are wanted/on the run. Believing that no one would be dumb enough to go into that zone they could've thought it'd be possible to survive there. While dumb as hell because you'd need to make a noticeable location to feed, house, and defend the inhabitants. Unless they formed walls/trenches around their settlement and constantly kept guard, they'd eventually fall. But yeah, outlaws trying to hide and figuring leo's of that time wouldn't dare enter that zone. But that falls apart at points and eh. But it's an interesting theory. Or perhaps they are these "skull hunters" we hear about.
Thanks for the video Ty, from what i can tell you work solo and editing is a torturous process.
You gave us your take on this half baked idea 🥴
Unrelated to the timeline topic, I always really liked the somewhat somber ending to the episode with him going out for the first time again and then seeing Amy as a walker and the episode just ending.
In terms of the timeline…I think your conclusion makes sense. I’m part of the wiki and even we are a bit iffy on Tales as a whole 😅
Love your videos man, very interesting and i like your style, keep it up 💪🏻🇮🇹
I'd personally like to see what their world looks like 100 years out. What lessons did society learn? How did tech advance during that time? What changes happened in how society handles disease and death? Is there a new system of government established? What nations exist? I can't imagine the United States is back, but I could see a bunch of smaller nations forming from the old US, probably centered around major settlements that eventually became cities.
I have a feeling humanity bounced back, and probably stronger than before.
oooh been waiting for this!
Another great video bro, but now I'm left with more questions than answers!!! I think even the creators don't know where they were going with this one... Anyways keep up the great work,
I feel like they tried to make this whole timeline worlds colliding things with all the spinoffs like world beyond and fear and messed up somewhere along the line which caused a ripple effect through the rest of the shows
AMC just don't know what they're doing. The main show being cancelled like it was, is still really weird, if it was just a kneejerk reaction to covid, then that really showcases their mismanagement that was seen best by ftwd's reboot.
Gimple probably had a big plan for the universe, but then the main show was cancelled so there wasn't a clear place for everything to collide and he just decided to scrap it. Daryl Dixon is the main show now but that focus seems to be on variants.

This is a very cool topic to cover but my only concern with Tales is they brought in random writers for each episode that aren't very familiar with TWD. So I'm not even sure if the episodes are considered canon to the universe. Regardless my guess on the giant trench is that it was created to lead the giant hordes of walkers of the edge. This could be the best way to eliminate the massive amount of hordes that are out there. Similar to the end of The Whisper arc and how they defeated Betas horde. I have a feeling we'll never find out but still a very cool discussion video!
4:00 I will say, there is an (accidental) man made canyon in south Georgia called Providence Canyon!!! It breaks down more and more every day. Any group with enough explosive devices could easily expand it.
Fairly certain any walkers over a few years turned would not exist as the brain would completely rot hence no walkers. People would only need to deal with the recently deceased which would be fairly simple with safeguards in place. The idea that there would be hordes of zombies being mobile after a few years is not plausible.
TWD Zombies aren’t plausible and neither is them evolving into super walkers. I don’t think that’s really a solid argument.
@@ep1cfac3 it is if we are basing the virus on the brain . The brain matter decays . Simple
You realize the The One Who Live ends at year 13-15 right? You can track Judith's age and the time jumps.
Maybe to help-or make things more complicated, it could be possible the beginning part of the “Trench” was a large government excavation for a massive project. It just so happened that, after the outbreak, the excavation was continued/expanded into a trench project.
I mean in theory if I was escaping from walkers who only move directly over land by walking rather slowly then making a large trench where all people need to do is get to the other side via anything from plane to rope bridge is probably going to be a good solution and I will take the planks to the first steps onto the bridge with me as I get on (roll em up and roll em out) or I would swing across the dang thing if I had to. What did it look like in the beginning is more what I am interested in because there was probably a use for it? With the herd sizes mentioned in TOWL I was like "they are going to need to fill the Grand Canyon with walkers" by leading them off a cliff. Killing one by one is incredibly slow and energy consuming.
As a stand alone I found tales pretty enjoyable. Some episodes were slight duds but other really good.
Great video. Is Tales of the walking dead just on AMC+?
Can you make a video about how long walkers would last before they decay or the brain rots as they have no blood flow and are walking in the sun all day . I think it would be a year max.
I’ve heard that the virus somehow slows that decay, may be wrong though
@@trsgaming1479HOW can a virus do that ?

I think it’s a very real possibility these are supposed to be considered as in universe tales, stories told in this world that may or may not be completely true if true at all. It’s like how the Mad Max films are supposed to depict in universe fables opposed to exact representations of the world, or how Star Wars has released multiple books that have vague levels of canonicity as they detail characters discussing in universe legends about well known characters.
I kinda assumed it was a cheeky joke about the timeloop episode since that could realistically take place over 35 years but seeing the context of the quote? definitely just a dropped point that shouldn't have been mentioned but still cool and I consider the episode canon
This is literally my favorite episode and I wanna know more about these characters 😢😢
Well atleast humans are still around
A way to make the trench less silly would have been to not make it a trench at all,
Make the zone an island surrounded by water with most ways to easily access the island be destroyed,
That would solve a good portion of the silly parts of this episode
I been binge watching seasons like season 8 was so much better then real time. I notice also in recap videos that everything is recycled. Rick became Shane. Rick made Gareth kneel, the cops in Atlanta etc Negan made Rick kneel. Elton the smart kid in world beyond also said humans silk be wiped out in 15 years. Then Beale tells Rick that. I'm gonna say 15 years maybe. Not 35. Tales was awful except for Alpha episode and I really liked episode 2. I know it was little crazy but the way I interpret that is the main characters became walkers and we were seeing a person's brain transition into a walker. The end their clothing looked like walkers and they limped like walkers. Plus the familiarity with each other is why they walked together. Idk I just want more Rick and CRM back. Great videos brother. But the rest other then maybe the PPP card will be dropped unless they do next generation with RJ( who is awful) then we will be 35 years in which by then we won't be watching
Why does your stock footage dragon fly at 4:15 have a motherboard in it’s wings 😂
Hahaha holy shit I didn’t notice that. That’s funny as hell
I cant remember the episode very well, but wasn’t the guy at one point surprised she was educated or something, implying that she grew up after the apocalypse.
You could be right, I might’ve missed that part. If that is the case great observation.
I’m clueless as to how or when the giant trench was dug.
I wonder, though, if what’s “worse” outside the dead sector is either variant walkers or other walker-borne illnesses like what Beale mentioned. Maybe the walkers inside the dead sector aren’t infected with either the variant walker virus or the other walker borne disease(s).
For the skull-hunters, we see in Daryl Dixon that the scientists making the variant walker serum use a Walker head in a jar somehow for that process. Maybe that process requires a non-variant walker’s head and those are hard to come by outside the dead sector. (This is presuming that madam Gene somehow attacks the US/sends her variants to the US)
Either that or some organization needs these non-variant walkers to work on a cure.
Those are pretty interesting theories!
In a world where the dead rose and almost wiped out humanity, why the hell would people follow them around and study them like wild animals? Also after 10 years shouldnt the walkers have decomposed to such a degree that they wouldnt even exist anymore? I forget do Walkers not go after animals? I know they swarmed Rick's horse in Atlanta so after 10 years wouldnt the predators in the trench have killed off the Walkers for food (since the walkers cant really reproduce).
I don't think this episode takes place 35 years after Monument Day. I know that I already mentioned this in the poll, but it is highly unlikely that Dr. Everett and his colleagues were studying the dead for 26 years before being overrun by Walkers or people. If something were to happen to them, it would have happened much sooner.
With 26 years under his belt, Dr. Everett would probably have more knowledge about Walkers than their migration patterns. In World Beyond, the CRM scientists had already discovered ways to slow down the "resurrection" process so that it would be easier to kill them before they turned.
There are a lot of "problems" with TWD universe, so who knows? For example, how has nobody built up immunity from the virus this many years into the outbreak?
Surely, at some point, somebody would just die and stay dead? What about people who died shortly before the outbreak happened? Nobody mentioned people rising from their graves. So there was an exact day when people got infected from the virus?
That last part is actually an extremely interesting question I haven’t thought of.
Dr Jenner states wildfire was declared around April 2010, and monument day occurs on august 27th, people would presumably have to be reanimating before the earliest on screen walker (fear season 1 episode 1).
The trench thing makes sense but seems way too big of a project especially early on. I mean look at how hard it was for Ricks group to just build a bridge. But if it could be done it would make sense to do multiple trenches and clear in between the trenches rather than build one and clear one side of it
If it were me I would build concentric rings (or preferably lines if you were based on a peninsula *cough* Florida) then clear and expand one level at a time.
Edit: or a grid structure across the US or North America would work too and might be more convenient especially if used together with natural barriers (mountains and rivers)
I could definitely see the CRC/CRM doing this since they kinda already use the river the split the city and the consignees. It definitely seems realistic for them to use barriers natural or manmade to expand and create a sort of class structure based on how close you are to the center
I watched the video, you did provide a well-thought-out explanation, but I am still confused. I'll just consider the episode entertaining.
I wonder if this may be like that japanese soldier who kept hiding for like 30 years. Maybe he just never found the new civilization and thought it was all over
i was thinking that the dead sector thing related to supply issues
food and resources
We need more tales i loved the astronaut storyline in ftwd they should do more stories like that or stuff that isn’t really already seen on twd like maybe show other parts of the world like china or something with variants
@TheGovernor2003 I meant like more unique stories like the astronaut guy not just your generic stuff like a survivor in a bunker or something generic like that
Can you explain the civil war story between Beale philadelphia faction vs Pensylvania Faction
When General Beale brought about there only 14 years left because of the walkers and the people plus the diseases and the food. If you really think about it if this takes 35 years then wouldn’t the walkers be dead or hard to find? It’s confusing to me but I did get excited about the 35 years into the apocalypse but now watching this it’s kind of hard to believe.
Was that Doakes from Dexter?
Wasn't this episode confirmed to actually take place 10 years into the apocalypse?
Edit: ok you do cover it later nvm
Gimple single handedly destroyed the Walking Dead. FACT. His this idiot is still involved with this series is beyond mind numbing
Maybe the walkers in the dead zone are the og walkers and the ones being referred to outside the dead zone are the ones from France
Haven't watched this yet, but is Dr. Everett related with Telltale's TWD's Lee Everett whose brother was also a doctor?
The game is in the comic universe, and the show and its spin-offs are its own unique timeline. Its an easy mistake to make, I thought they were the same until I looked it up too. There's some pretty solid sources on Google that you can go to, but who knows what the future could bring. We could get a live action adaptation of the game one day, weirder things have happened. I think TOTW overall was a massive fumble. There was so much ground that could've been covered. We could've had a more in-depth look at what happened before our group arrived at Terminus, the origins of The Saviors, all sorts of stuff.
Dr Everett and Amy and Evie and Joe are my favourites out of the bunch. I think the Davon one was okay, and the others were mid at best. It's a shame the show turned out the way it did because I would've loved a little glimpse into the lives of other survivors that aren't ruined by stupid time loops and ghosts...
This show had SO much potential, you could've had a episode about Shane's early days in the apocalypse before Rick woke up, a episode about Abraham's, Rosita's and Eugene's travels till they met the group, so many opportunities to allow us to see dead characters again and other scenarios like seeing the birth of the CRM, since we definetely need more of Beale, etc.
@@DaLegend-nz6li well I do agree with you that the show had a lot of potential. I also 100% see why it flopped when reading your comment you guys were expecting this show to be crazy. Amazing you wanted to a Shane episode? You want them just sign a check worth millions to Jon bernthal for one episode granted it would be fucking sick if we had episodes about all those things I just don’t think that’s realistically what you should’ve expected from the show even if we all should have expected a whole lot more than what we got
@@hudsonlewer7486 still, there's no excuse, its the worst show set in the TWD universe, they should've done much more.
p.s: they could've at least show less important characters who aren't that expensive and it would've still been better.
@@DaLegend-nz6li 100% where I agree with you. The show should’ve been better probably covered topics that were more interesting too because I agree half of the episode were boring as shit. I just don’t think I ever expected it to cover from the series that much I was very surprised by the alpha episode. Maybe I shouldn’t have been if there was news that she was already gonna be in the show but I wasn’t too big into it before it came out we should’ve but my point was expectations. Were that high could they have ever really succeeded like say they did the compromised you said would you have been happy or still a little upset just less upset? I’m just starting to feel like as a collective fan base we’re really hard to please.
I don't think Tales From The Walking Dead is considered canon in any way. I mean, one of them involves a Time Loop and another one involves a ghost
"Allegedly"
I’m just lost at this point
The skull hunters work for a CRM like remnant that has the cure and needs walker brains as a component. Otherwise they would have killed the walkers instead of taking the time to behead them alive.
Does that mean Beale was wrong about having 14 years left if nothing is done
Do you believe that there are lions in the dead sector?
I have a thought. What if the trench was dug before the apocalypse.
Not sure there is a mystery here, sounds like she was speaking off the cuff and they either changed their mind behind the scenes or she was off or, maybe both.
Honestly, in my head, this show isn't even cannon, this is legit worse than the times where FTWD was god awful, at least it made some what sense, this show makes 0 sense, especially that episode with the 2 girls, they could've shown the fall of Atlanta, but they screwed it up, missed opportunity to not have Terry Crew's character be the person that Tyreese mentioned in S3, they said something about holding down in his bunker for a while, we could've had them enter it at the end of the episode as a small cameo to connect the dots as Terry's character was gone, i hope if they try this format again, they go with the safe route, showing us stories about dead characters, origins of characters like Beale or the Terminus folk and just over-all more world building.
BRAINS...
So i like how this large group can overthrow the dead but the military couldn't, makes sense
The Showrunners were so shit. This Series could’ve been way better than it was and could’ve kept going. I know it’s not out of the realm of possibilities to bring back for a season 2, but damn get some better writers with just different characters and stories that happened within TWD Universe all around the US and other countries. Show other battles and groups killing walkers or trying to find sanctuary, im sure there were other cannibals out there, other Negans out there, other military groups similar to the Commonwealth and CRM, there’s so much they could do with a Series like this and the showrunners dropped the ball. Terrible.
The colony's should just build a trench around the towns.
I thought it was the weird village episode

and many other species of animals that have not been seen in the sector but that are native and non-native
tales reminded me more of creepshow than twd.
Why do they move in herds??
Very unrealistic. Even during this apocalypse apple for sure would have released 10 more Iphones.
Yeah they need a full restart and story for TWD. New directors, characters, story, company, etc.
A HBO TWD would be fire
Mutated walkers from Darrel 🤟
9:32 - Not "10 years in". There's a +. It means AT LEAST 10 years in.
Tales of the walking dead was so disappointing just because it had so much potential like this episode we potentially get to see years into the future, and maybe hints at what could of happened after the show but instead of that we cant even work out a rough year it could of happened.
For me is 2045 and 35 years later
A trench is silly. A wall or barrier makes way more sense.
the walking dead writers probably watching this video like oh shit
I honestly dont really consider TOTWD in the timeline at all, the entire show is just bad television and is just a way for the creators to expand the universe, similar to world beyond, except world beyond would be considered in the timeline. The only TOTWD episode even worth watching is the one explaining alphas backstory.
I don't get why they choose show directors that know little to nothing about the series they're doing 🤔
I personally think the episode wasn't made with 35 years in in mind. It was something THAT LADY WANTED TO HAPPEN,THEY LAUGHED HER OFF AND SHE SAID IT IN AN INTERVIEW TO FORCE IT IN BUT ONES WHO LIVE MADE IT BACKFIRE ON HER
It also wouldn't be the first time someone wants to force a stupid idea. Glen Mazzara killed off Andrea "becouse no one suspected it". He WANTED TO KILL CARL INSTEAD OF AXEL AT THE PRISON. This would show Gimple actually LEARNT from this experience and shut her off asap. Then she wanted to force it in by saying it in an interview and then it backfired on her. That's my take on this "35 years in" issue
So walkers are extinct from earth except from there?
DR EVERETTE???
the Alpha episode is between the two episodes in the main show, everything else is not cannon
maybe the dead take place in the dead sector due to all the animals ? idk
She said 35 years and she shouldn't have. She is wrong.
Let's not think too deeply. She was just wrong.
