I just turned 41 in March I have stage 3 stomach cancer and at times I feel like it's the end for me it's seems like the people in my life forgot about me and I was always the one there for everybody . I have spent the majority of my life as an avowed atheist. I came across this song about twelve years ago and fell in love with it solely on the singing, on the exquisite soprano solo and on the technical quality of the chord changes. The words, of course, meant nothing to me.
Fast forward to 2024. I have been a Christian now for almost eight years. I rediscovered the song and now it means something beyond just the music. Thank you, Mr Franklin, for creating this wonderful song.

The oppressor comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He’s had his eye on my life since the womb and has made many attempts to take me out. I’ve had a few homeless (demon filled) confront me with “ I want nothing else but for you to burn in hell” etc…. They see exactly who His people are and they know their time is short. The battle is not between flesh and blood but between principalities of darkness and light. I’m not a saint but I know who MY Father is and I believe in His promises. The recent attempts at my life and my peace will not work. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I wish all of you peace, love, and joy in abundance. God just healed my sister’s brother in law of stage 3 stomach cancer that spread to his chest are and neck. He was diagnosed about 2 months ago. He was completely healed 3 weeks ago. So like a month into his treatment his doctor ran tests on him 3 times and said there was not even evidence that he ever had cancer. He did treatments for about a month before God completely healed him.Hallelujah! Praise God by Jesus stripes he was healed. Thank You LORD for healing Joseph.🙌🏽🙌🏽😭🙏🏽🙏🏽
