first things first, I wanted to thank you for being so patient with me, for rooting for me and not giving up on me, it really means everything to me!! The messages of support and love I received from you guys helped me stay afloat and I will forever feel grateful for that :') it felt so weird to be vlogging again but also weirdly like it's what I'm meant to be doing 🤔💭 I've missed talking with you and connecting through the comments, sharing our love for books and everything in between; I won't say I'm 100% back to being myself but I've just been taking it day by day and trying my best. Every day is different but I'm still fighting and that's what counts. So i want to let you know... if you're currently going through something, I hope my videos bring you a little bit of comfort and make you forget about it, even if it's just for a tiny bit uwu

Ok, a little back story: I went through the biggest reading slump of my existence from November to January. However, I had the Percy Jackson collection on my shelf waiting for me to read it for the first time. I started at the beginning of this month and I'm really proud to say that the reading slump is long gone!
Yesterday I finished "The Battle of the Labyrinth", and while I stared into space thinking about all the events that happened, I found the urge to go to your channel and re-watch your Percy Jackson related videos. Now I get all the hype around them (and Nico´s pun) and I just wished I started sooner but off-topic.
What I am trying to say is, seeing your new video today, after yesterday looking at you and missing your content to death, just made me extremely happy! Plus, that fairy loot unboxing with greek mythology was probably the cherry on top of the cake! Fun coincidences, but I'm so happy you're back! Hope you feel better, slowly but steady!

Omg that intro 😍 I'm so happy to see you, I really missed your videos 🥺 I usually go through phases of reading a lot, the watching tons of CZcams or Netflix and then (currently) playing animal crossing all day because I can't seem to find a healthy balance 😅 so when I'm in a reading slump, I don't typically try to force myself out of it and rather just embrace whatever else I'm using a as a choping mechanism for my depression/anxiety at that time. But if I want to read lots, I tend to use audiobooks and more recently I've fallen into the habit of joining reading sprints. Hope that helps! Please don't stress yourself tho ❤ PS. now I can't wait for my Fairyloot box to finally arrive

Life is unpredictable & it’s almost impossible to consistently read the same through everything. I try to go easy on myself because reading is supposed to be relaxing & fun. any sort of graphic novel, comic or manga usually helps during slumps because you get a feeling of accomplishment. you should also try reading a book while listening to an audiobook, that always works for me. hope you get over your slump, glad you're back💗💗💗

Hi!! I'm so happy that you're back! tips on getting out of a reading slump..... read easy fast pace books, short books, books that are hyped up (the hype helps to be excited to read it). Basically though, read the opposite of classics. I love classics so much but they can take a lot of brain power!

Also- when you're in the mood, The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune is an incredible book that I think you would love. I read it during a depressive episode and ended up sobbing on the floor with a box of tissues because of how warm and happy it made me feel. It's about found family and magical children who live in an orphanage. :)

Is so good to see you back! I'm no "expert" and everyone is different but usually, when I hit a reading slump I re-read a favorite or pick something "shorter" or "easier" to read OR pick something I don't have great expectations of (which was the last thing that worked for me). For example, at some point last year I was in a reading slump and I picked up one of the Pretty Little Liars books since it was shorter and easier to follow/read. And last summer I spent 2 months without the desire of reading but I got Lobizona by Romina Garber (which I thought I wouldn't enjoy since it was about werewolves) and that book got me out of the reading slump in just one page. Anyway, maybe try something I said or pick an audiobook, an easy-to-follow audiobook, and I hope you get to feel better in every aspect of your life. Take care, hope to see you soon here!
