  • Add child coordinates using the Cocoon gem, track sightings with the Mapkick gem, and use simple form + bootstrap to make it look pretty!

    I don't know why I do these things either. This video covers creating a list of UFOs that each contains a list of sightings. Each sighting has many coordinates and displays a map of the sighting using geo_json coordinates (Which have latitude and longitude reversed for some reason)
    The UFO itself has an action_text body for WYSIWYG content, as well as a status enum to indicate if it's been "decommissioned" lol.
