This WCL is an interesting study of how a team dominating its domestic league might impact the team. Barca is barely tested in their domestic league, and as amazing as they play they don’t have a lot of experience with adversity. While Chelsea, Lyon, and PSG are at the top of their leagues, they face more regular tests. Will be interesting to see how they each respond.
Interesting point! I was certain Barca was going to win the 1st leg (after all, all experience pointed towards it), but was proven wrong. Now Chelsea has the home advantage, but one should never underestimate a team like Barca. They will have studied and prepared tremendously. So excited for tomorrow.

Frankly, I am not a Chelsea fan in the WSL, but tomorrow I will be cheering like crazy for the London ladies, because I don't like the aura of invincibility that is around Barca. It's not healthy for the sport. Barca needs to experiece loss and I hope it comes tomorrow with Chelsea.

As for the Spanish liga, they haven't lost a single game this year, one last year and none the year before that. In Champions league, they lost with Chelsea last week, won last season and lost in the finals the season before last. The one before, they won as well. They are the best in the world, hands down. They have won it all and they keep winning. That's the vibe of invincibility I was talking about and that's exactly the reason why I hope they lose tomorrow. This is sport and sport should be about competition. Barca has been so good that when somebody beats them, it's almost "suspicious". I'm not a fan of that.

You have to get rid of Buchanan, she is a great play but he will cost you the games you need the most. She is to unpredictable and does stupid things like not clearing the ball away properly and giving a penalties. She also attaches yellow cards with her inconsistency. As a coach you know the risk, you must live with it
