I'm Roman Catholic and I'm thrilled that I found your channel. I've been for years so interested in learning of your community and your traditions. Thank you for sharing your family with all of us. I feel privileged just to be able to have a peek. Beautiful party...........🎆☮️🥳💖👍💐
Me, too, and I love watching them! Of course, my father always worked with Jewish companies and I have many wonderful memories with our lovely Jewish friends and at many Jewish events. We also lived in Jewish neighborhoods.😄
Although I am Catholic, I enjoy and look forward to your videos. Besides being a learning experience, it is refreshing seeing such a close knit community. Thank you for sharing your traditions and values.
I am from a half Jewish, and half Christian family in the US, I love hearing it too. Maybe I will look to become Jewish in the future. I think all religions have a nice way to be for most people. G-d provides for people who live a good life.
@@Sara88890 As a child, I lived in an area that was predominantly Jewish. My youngest sister had Croup. Night's when my dad working, several of the Jewish neighbors offered to take my mom to hospital with my sister. As a whole, my Jewish neighbors very friendly and caring. We never felt out of place. Both Catholics and Jewish as pro life as you can be. It would be a kinder world if we all focused more on commonalities.
So I’m a teacher in Roman Catholic school in the Uk and I teach a unit on Judaism to year 8(12/3 years old) the pupils love learning all the different customs and teaching my pupils about them… the foundation of respect and love is to understand each other’s customs…I love finding channels like yours as it brings their book learning to life. 👍🏼thank you
You do such a good job at explaining every aspect of our Jewish lives to the world, in a beautiful and respectful way! I am so thankful for your channel, it brings positivity and awareness to the Jewish Orthodox community and that’s amazing☺️
Can I just say, your own shidduch was so blessed...you all are a perfect match. Your personalities compliment one another beautifully. Mazel tov to the happy couple!
Mazel tov and congratulations. Ty for giving us a look into your traditions and beliefs. It's greatly appreciated for the learning experience. I love your channel. Many thanks and so much appreciation for showing us!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💖💖💖💖💖💖
I love this channel the live and the togetherness I daven at a chabad shul and my rebbetzin is chabad. I live everything chabad. Do much joy and happiness
Congratulations! What a joyful celebration with lovely family and friends! Gives a person hope for the future; especially during these often grey days.🥰
Yes that's true . I'm not Hasidic but I am aware of this. For public reading for example Satmar and Gur are very different. The philosophy of dating does not exist in the same way in secular society. w Also for public info Lubavitch are much more open than many other groups which are more insular. Some other groups do not approve of women being filmed. Different customs. Other Jewish denominations male and female mix more in social situations let's say outside of religious services. Some practices are Torah related and others are custom. My understanding is that Lubavitch views all Jews as jews more inclusive views. My husband (Modern Orthodox) needed to order what we needed for Sukkot. We live in an area with not too many jewish people. The Lubavitch Rabbi at Chabad House ordered what we needed and was very kind. I once had a woman from another Orthodox group which I won't name who said I must have drifted away from my family looking how I was dressed. This woman was a stranger I would never talk that way to another person let alone a Jewish person. Lubavitch does not turn away people from Chabad houses or embarass. If you are traveling and need kosher food or somewhere to be on Shabbat contact Chabad they are all over the world.
By the way Aliza a good friend of mine who is Modern Orthodox actually met Rabbi Schneerson at 770 years ago and has a photo with him. He cherishes this photo. I applaud Lubavitch being kind and open to non-Hasidic Jews - not everyone is. (Not all denominations are)
I'm an atheist but my family is ultra orthodox and they never did this when got engaged. Just made a party and food to meet and that's it. No singing like this and prayers. I guess it must be a hasidic custom that most jews don't do. Luckily. I never liked this singing. lol
Even though I think your culture has many beliefs that are not in torah, I still think it's one of the closest to truth. Love the division tradition at parties. Much much love from La Pampa, Argentina
No disrespect meant , but this complete separation of the sexes seems “strange” to me, especially after marriage. The married relationship is so sacred you cannot have anything to do with each other , cannot attend social functions together, etc. only behind closed doors , and then only for 2 weeks of each month. It seems this would feel very isolating, lonely and at times used for the women. You cannot sit down at a function and eat together , but you can go home and have sex with this man. Again, I do not mean this in a critical way or critiquing your traditions. It just seems very lonely to me. For me, when I go to social events if I could not be with my husband at the event , I just would not want to go.
it is not isolating because the husband and wife spend a lot of time together and also eat together all the time. It's only gender separated at large public events. If it was a few friends getting together for dinner, then the couples can eat together. Plus just because they're not intimate doesn't mean they don't spend lots of quality time together
It is our tradition that separation between men and women outside of a close family setting is God's will. We are entitled to have and believe in a faith and tradition
The sound of Hebrew is awful. Those phlegmy “kh” sound hurts people’s ears. It’s easy to substitute a soft”h” or “ch” for a softer “sound.” Don’t say that this sound was given by G-d and can’t be changed. I’ve heard Aramaic and there were no awful “kh” sounds. Jews from other lands don’t use the “kh” sound when speaking Hebrew, so it’s not Biblical. The quality of Hebrew has gone down.

All prayers we memorise by heart as Muslims
so do Jews, but we want to read the words so we can have a deeper prayer

Why did you throw glass down and said Amen? Please give reply.

How do Hasidic Jews get enraged?
They wake up in the morning.

Shouldn't this video be titled "how Chabad Chassidim get engaged"? I'm sure different groups have different customs lol

minimum order of 5 million couple marriage for their Family life

who the hey thinks it’s ok to not bring food to the women’s section. Mazel Tov to you all!
It’s not that serious tithe women section had more food in fact it’s just a different style less protein more carb
It’s so funny if a Muslim did this and the show that we don’t mix they say it’s oppression to the woman but yet look the Jews do it
Are they wearing wigs
The married women!
Mazel Tov to the newly engaged couple. Toda for sharing an engagement with us. Bnei Noach South Africa 🇿🇦 ♥

Who made this law that women and men stay separate
GOD!
What do you think?
