- There are many ways and materials to tie a simple egg fly. In this video, I show my favorite, and fastest, method. This allows for a nearly symmetrical egg to be tied, complete with multiple colors and/or a blood dot, in less than 20 seconds.
The key to this fly is using a stretchy egg material like McFly Foam. I've also modified a pen cap to make a good tool for assisting with this egg pattern.
Materials List
Hook: Czech Nymph Hook Size 14
Thread: Red UTC 210
Body: McFly Foam Orange/Red (from Clown Color Pack)
Other: Modified Pen Cap

Brilliant! Why doesn't this video have more views/likes?
Generally, we do not actively promote this channel, because the majority of the work we do is to support Project Healing Waters, so we are not out to make a profit....with that said, tell your friends ;)
Brilliant.

Great video. Thank you. Suggest you trim your nails. It takes away from the presentation. Otherwise, well done
