Here’s my unanswered observation, Libby:
4 years ago when Trump had a rally at a nearby airport, the entire venue was surrounded and protected by Security Service, FBI, and other professional sharpshooters.
This time, the surrounding area was not secured. A civilian observed the young man scaling the building. The civilian tried frantically to convince police, FBI, and Security Service - for 10 minutes. No one listened.
Other civilians corroborated the person’s observations. The logical conclusion is that the shooting could have been prevented - but officials ignored what was going on.
I’m not drawing conclusions. Leaving it here. Take care of yourself, Libby. I understand how it feels to channel horror.
You know dt likes also using private security, right? He's said previously he didn't trust the Secret Service. Although being an assistant at a nursing home is worthy, it is also depressing, can be messy. The young man was bullied his whole life - although he came from a good family by all accounts. It was his ‘looks’ that was reason to be picked on. Perhaps even his family bullied him? He wanted to prove himself - felt he had nothing to gain or lose. He had access to an assault weapon and was likely disillusioned by Trumps recent attempt to distance himself from Maga causes (project 2025 being one of those). The perfect storm for this fellow😢

Retired military here. There are overweight people in the military. Trust me, I know from personal experience. You get put on a program to lose the weight and get back into shape but they will kick you out if the pounds don't come off.

I will share with you that last night I had yet another crazy dream again and this one made me wake up cold and horrified! I had a dream that the young man’s father sold his son out in a deal for money from a Russian man! The Russian had what appeared to be a piece of paper and then a bag of money? It’s very confusing yet happening very fast in a dark place. I had trouble getting back to sleep after that. My stomach was hurting and in knots! I pray to God that this was not something that really happened!
