Brit throwing out the fishing poles at the 01:22:21 to replace with the raid loot is so symbolic. The fishing poles got his wipe started by letting him research to satchels, and he used them to raid and more efficiently and enjoyably get more loot.
1:46 So fun fact junkyard has 10 barrels and 10 crates, as well as 4 diesel spawns. The monument is tiny so it's quick for getting comps. If you get good at the crane minigame you can farm up 400 scrap and metal frags in under 3 minutes, with just one oil barrels worth of low grade refined. The minimum lowgrade value those will give you is 50 (5 lg, 15 oil)
I know people say “consistency is key” for like CZcams content creation. But going from ‘hey I’m just gonna upload a short video of PvE shenanigans’ with limited editing to an hour long proper edited vanilla video is sublime variety of content
u can craft stone spears if u leave 1 hp on the spear or if u have at least 1 NOT broken wooden spear then u can craft stone ones using broken wooden ones
Btw you can still craft Stone Spears from broken Wooden ones but you need to have at least one Wooden Spear thats not fully broken in your inventory. I was literally eco raiding a furnace base when he brought that up, so I had to test it.
Great video Brit ! I never understood though why most streamers don't go with building plan and hammer and a door pre-crafted into raids. When you take out the TC you could have easily sealed both raided bases and transferred it all pretty easily.

I saw a video on a trick that lets you craft stone spears from broken wood ones. It worked the Q menu or quick craft 1 or the other but not both. You had to have the broken ones in you hot bar

You can still craft stone spear you just need to have a wood spear with hp in your inventory and put the wood spear in the last slot in your inventory so it will craft the latest GREAT VIDEO BTW BRIT
if u keep one almost broken spear and put that in ur hotbar and all the broken in ur inv u can still craft all the stone spears with it from the broken ones

The Wood Spear skin is the thing thats broken if you craft an unskin Spear you should still be abel to make it into a stone spear but that is if the update yesterday didnt block that

I can't handle when you're looting and have to come back for the sulphur and HQM because you've got too many earthworms and boonie hats in your inventory (throw them away 😂)
ive used this fishing method quite often, as a solo, to get a good start etc- but these days it seems way too well known, and folks (just like u at the start of vid) think its prolly loaded with scrap etc.. so i end up getting raided fast. it used to be so much better, and folks wouldnt really bother a solo, in a 2x1 at fishing village fishing

ALSO people who freak out at a loaded body/box and then freeze for WAY too long. and to be real with you, you actually slapped there, i think you should have looked at the health of some of those though and it would have been easier to determine what to swap around. all in all and compared to so many other creators, that was good looting so dont beat yourself up

You should have stuck to it with the scrap for a couple hours. Finish tier 3 tech tree at least with what the video was about and then you could have raided with rockets and c4
Wait i was eco raiding last night and was able to use broken spears to make stone ones when i had unbroken spears? After being gone for 8 months didn't even know this was a change hah

What if you fished instead of farmed sulfur? Use the scrap to buy grenades at outpost and recycle for GP? Not sure on the math but could work.
I'm a big boo-boo fan. I watched his river fishing. Then the ocean. I've built this base on vanilla and easily get 2500 scrap an hour.
brit you can catch more if you use raw meat such as pork or bear meat

The armour base you wanted to raid at 1hour in.. had sheet foundy you could have destroyed and got loot that way
