I think the fact that they keep changing is exactly the reason to love them. Isn't it so interesting that you never know what's coming? Bill has an amazing ability to still surprise me every time even after 10 years, and every time at first I feel unsure how to feel about it but I always end up loving it to the point of going crazy. TH brings unexpected color and change to my life and I'm forever grateful for it
mmrip they definitely have matured their sound. Even the drum set they use called "Tama" is one of the best drum sounds ever.

Damn I used to be a huge fan of this band, it makes me so nostalgic to remember those times. I couldn't even speak English back then, but I learned a lot with their songs and other music. I've grown up and so did them. I'm not a big fan of the music they make now, but I'll always feel a certain love for them. For being part of my life since I was 7 and for helping me in my hardest times, when I suffered from bullying. I remember their songs always made me feel better.

i meant compared to the past when Bill used to apply lots of makeup and his facial figures were slightly different, now you can see better the ressemblances between the two of them, even if they're not 100% the same (which is normal). And they can't be "totally" different, they're still twins lol

2023 Tokio Hotel fever and forever!
I don´t know what you guys actually think about this, but it´s the saddest for me to see people still saying they miss the old Tokio Hotel. I literally grew up with them, I know how you feel. But, do you know what? They said this is the album they always wanted to make, and that should be enough for you to, at least, appreciate their hard work. Do you even imagine how much can you hurt the artist by saying that you hate/dislike something they always wanted to do as musicians?
For real, if you ever truly loved Tokio Hotel, you should keep on supporting them. No matter what.

People don't seem to understand that these men were once boys that started their dream with Devilish. They grew to become Tokio Hotel & even now they continue growing! They have said Dream Machine is the album they have always wanted to make. Everyone was upset that Humanoid didn't sound like Scream, & that Kings of Suburbia didn't sound like Humanoid. They keep growing & learning & expanding, just like we, as humans, all are. They have been my favorite band for just about a decade & whatever they wish to produce, I will take it all in & love it because it's THEM. That's what being a true fan is all about.

Oh god...time passes fast. I remember becoming a fangirl 13 years ago...I loved them so much. They helped me through bullying at school, they distracted me from problems I had with my family, my worries with their music. I owe them so much. I even remember writing fanfictions about them From young wild boys to grown up men. I still love them, although I prefer their old songs. "1000 Meere" is still my all time fave. Thank you guys for an amazing childhood and puberty. Just. Thank you.
Ich kann mich noch genau an den Moment erinnern, als ich vor 12 Jahren, im meinem Kinderzimmer vor meinem winzigen Röhrenfernseher saß und ich das erste mal durch den Monsun hörte. Ich überlegte ob Bill ein Mädel oder ein Junge ist.
Ich fand euch immer gut, auch wenn ich kein mega Fangirl war.
So und heute sitz ich hier mit meinen fast 30 Jahren und kaufe mir mein erstes Tokio Hotel Album. Ich find es mega wie ihr euch entwickelt habt und das ihr euch trotz heftigen Gegenwind nie unterkriegen lassen habt. Guckt wie weit ihr gekommen seid, ihr könnt so stolz auf euch sein!
Besser hätte ich es nicht ausdrücken können. Ich bin auch über 30 und kann nur den Hut ziehen, welchen Weg die Jungs gegangen sind und wie sie sich entwickelt haben. Schade, dass sie oft so belächelt werden, aber das ist so typisch für Deutschland 🤮ich mag Tokio Hotel. Und wäre ich ein paar Jährchen jünger gewesen, als „Monsun“ rauskam, ich hätt auch 1. Reihe gestanden und gekreischt 🤘man sollte nie vergessen, dass man selber mal jung war 🤩
