Have to say I enjoyed the performance yesterday, it was music for the love of it, no contest stresses. Also liked the drum-major display. Well done all involved.
That would be interesting. Well Shotts have this Tribute band Because alot of NIreland players played in it. THE MCALLISTERS WAS ORIGINALLY FROM COLERAINE OR CARRICKFERGUS AREA ALSO THE GREAT WHITE HAIRED KING OF PIPE BAND DRUMMING ALEXANDER DUTHART ALSO ORIGINALLY CAME FROM ONE OF THE TWO PLACES RESPECTFULLY THEY BOTH HAD MASSIVE INFLUENCES ON NORTHERN IRELAND PIPERS AND DRUMMERS. ESPECIALLY MCALLISTER SPENT TIME WITH CULLYBACKEY PIPE BAND AND WAS AFFILIATION WITH OTHERS . BOTH GAVE TO PIPE BANDS BEFORE OTHER BANDS WAS INVENTED.
