- I head out into the woods with my dog Monty and my friend Jake to spend the night in the woods. There was 4 feet of snow accumulation in the area and was the deepest snow I have ever camped in. We cooked up some delicious food and of course, there were plenty of shenanigans.

I actually watch to see how Monty is cared for. Time frame and his actions like when he was hungry and chewing on a root then grass. 😉 However Monty is very happy and that's what matters. The video adventures is a great plus. 💗

Djasko M it has to do with it being a strange thing at most other points in history. Having a fruit that comes from very far away, or any sort of fresh produce for that matter in a random area and being able to enjoy it is frankly amazing.

Ok, somehow YT suggested you, and everytime I watch your videos, I fall asleep. It is a splendid thing because I have high anxiety and can't usually sleep prior to your videos. What black magic is this??? Kudos to building snow forts. It gives me memories of my life growing up in Wyoming. :) keep up with your snow videos. Hearing the snow fall makes me sleep.. I'm watching this on a warm September evening around twilight. Funny how you forget what winter's like went its summer! I'm from central Alberta so I certainly know what snow is like. I just prefer to watch other people having fun in it. I think Monty's so cool, I may look for a rough-haired collie pup in the future. I'm not sure how the family will react though. We are Tornjac dogs from way back, other than a couple of wolf hybrids. They, to date, are the best dogs I've ever had on the farm, but Monty and his breed really intrigue me! Great channel! It's often how I relax in the evenings!

ok first off I need to say I don't have a clue about outdoor winter camping like you do but I love watching them which brings me to this idea. It might be a crap idea but I'll share anyway. I was watching another person doing the sort of same set up you did with the tarp and the high banks of snow. What he did was put some logs across the side walls and then put his tarp over it. That way his tarp didn't sag. I love your videos. I love how you say you need to make sure Monty is comfortable first. You're a great dad
That's how jake set his up. Mine was a bit saggier but still worked great.

I'm gonna be honest here, i watched your videos after coming home from a camping trip that got way too cold, way too fast, and where i got sick to my stomach. I vowed never to go out again unless it was full summer. But your videos made me feel a lot better about the trip and i want to try it again. Thanks a bunch dude! I seen a lot of theese videos, wintercamping with my dog. And i cant seem to get enough of them, there is something about beeing outdoors in the winter, sleeping under the stars. And the beautiful bond between a dude and his dog. I am an old man, but videos like this bring back wonderful memorys from my youth..

They say it's not what you're doing so much, it's who you are doing it with that makes something fun. Now if you already enjoy the activity and THEN you add into the mix a good friend, that makes for an outstanding time. I have only recently got to experience this for myself. Not just a friend, not just a partner, but so much more and all of a sudden life has brand new meaning. None of us gets out of this life alive, you need to make the most of every day, I guess that's why I love this channel so much. They seem to know how to make the most of every day. Awesome 👍
