this was actually released in the US years back when Genon/Pioneer released it as a bonus track for Paranoia Agent. glad people are still finding Susumu's music, as hard as it is to find all of it. check out his original band's P-Model when you can too. more great stuff.
I think its because of the era it was released. See, Susumu's peak of fame was in late 2000s, and hes remembered mostly because of Berserk. He tries to distance himself from Berserk, in order to create a better name, but the fact that Berserk is his hit, it also happens to be associated with. I can call this "Rowling syndrome", because JK Rowling was so popular with Harry Potter books, that its the only thing shes associated with. Even Miura had issues with this and wanted to make something different than Berserk
@Daddy Donovan lol NO. Just because maybe arguably the English audience most associates him with Berserk, does not mean that is what he is most famous for. He has been a musician for over 50 years. He was chosen for Berserk because he already had such a large following (including its author). Hirasawa still regularly sells out concerts and basically every album he releases gets high on the Japanese bilboards. His second most recent album being the highest he has ever reached so far. He was a mega star before Berserk. He still is after. Berserk is a blip in his career and a very small fraction of his fanbase. If anything more people know him from his collaborations with Satoshi Kon at this point.
no, he doesn't appear in berserk if you knew that. I wanted to share the song, and I only put the Berserk background because I didn't have a Paranoia Agent wallpaper.

God forgive those who can't find this song
I have never heard of this song. Hirasawa is golden.
Exactly I thought I’d heard everything but I’m still discovering

how the fuck is it THIS underrated

@@daddydonovan6108 that is very imaginable, thanks for the information
@@daddydonovan6108 meh. there is no way he's not going to be associated with Berserk. Mind as well just embrace it

@@Luckingsworth thanks for writing this comment. You read my mind.
One of my favorites of his. Blue Limbo in its entirety is pretty underrated as well honestly
Never heard this before, it's excellent.
Rest in peace, Kentaro Miura.

random question but I found this song on the Paranoia Agent soundtrack - was this song also featured in Berserk?
no, he doesn't appear in berserk
if you knew that. I wanted to share the song, and I only put the Berserk background because I didn't have a Paranoia Agent wallpaper.
I also found this via exploring Paranoia Agent's music.
I am genuinely glad i looked.
(Dont get me wrong, though. Some of it WAS pretty weird.)
